These pictures was taken last June 11, 2007 on Maddy's birthday. We left at 8 o'clock in the morning and head out North at Grandpa Bob's Petting Zoo.We decided to visit our animal friends there as part of the birthday treat to the celebrant. The kids loved it there. I also marked the date on the calendar as jarred's first encounter with the zoo animals. He liked the animals especially when he get closer to them, it's okay to feed and pet them with the assistance of an adult. They have puppies there for adoption but we decided not to have one because we already have three pets at home.About noon when we decided to go home and take some refreshments, the kids go straight down to the swimming pool to cool off.We have the party started at 2 pm with the visitors and open the cards and gifts later on. So much fun! Still thinking what to do this year on Maddy and Jarred's birthday. Any suggestions? :-)

Vegetable Garden

Do you like gardening? Gardening is one of my favorite pastime, I love to watch our plant grow and enjoy the produce. I been planting different kinds of vegetables since I got here in New York. Yesterday, we bought from Wal-mart a bunch of vegetable seeds and dirt to make our garden this year. Unluckily we have sand all over our yard so we can't really plant it directly on it. We usually dig out just enough to put in regular dirt that we bought and then we lay down the seeds and cover it with the nice dirt. Here are some pictures from last year. We hope to have a nice garden and more produce this season. If you have tips on gardening please post your comment. I will appreciate it. :-)

My family always loved outdoor activities, we love camping, fishing, boating above all swimming. Spring is here, fun is waiting. Can't wait to go to Darien Lake Theme Park & Resort again. Last year we went there too we have so much fun camping, go on rides and swimming. Everything a family like us wanted to do. Almost everything is there. From rides, camping, fishing, watching live concerts of favorite singers. They have a newest thrill ride opening this 2008 they call it "the first of it's kind in North America. MotoCoaster launches riders from 0 to 40 miles per hour in 3 seconds. Climb over 40 feet in the air atop a street modified super sport motorcylce speeding through figure eights, around hairpin turns and down the straightaway." Ahh can't wait to go there. Darien Lake Theme Park Resort is located at 9993 Alleghery Road Darien Center NY 14040

I been here in the United States for almost 3 1/2 years now. I been hoping to receive my second green card before the end of October but my hopes were gone after i checked my status online. Before i went online I talked to the lady over the phone ( from BCIS customer support) saying that the processing will take 11 to 12 months from the day I submitted the application for removal of conditional status as permanent resident. I am confused now, the online information says it will take 13 to 15 months processing. I submitted my application I-751 October 9th 2007. I been dying to return home to visit my parents, it's been a long time already I missed them so much. Help..anybody?

Lignon Hill

Lignon Hill (pronounced as /li-NYON/) is one of the best places in Legazpi City if you want to have a very nice view of Mount Mayon and the city of Legazpi . A 143 meter high cinder-cone hill located 11 kilometer (6.8 miles) southeast of the volcano's summit is the highest location. Lignon Hill also towers the adjacent Legazpi Airport. As you climb up the hill turn onto the left and you will see the PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology) they have a station there that regularly observe the activities of Mount Mayon and the surrounding areas. My parents home is situation at the very foot of Lignon Hill. Whenever i missed my family in the Philippines I just visited google earth because i can have a closer look of the places i wanted to see. My friends over here thought it is so cool when i told them about google earth. Check it out http://earth.google.com/.
