What's the weather like? It was the question my new acquaintance asked me about the Philippines. She lived all her life in New York and never been to the Philippines where I grew up. Philippines has a tropical climate. We have dry season in March to May about 74° / 94°F ; Wet season in June to October 73° / 94°F ; and Cool Season in November to February about 71° / 86°F. It's a nice place to retire someday to get away with freezing cold in New York.

hunt for bargain

We love to hunt for a bargain. Guess what we bought last sunday? A yamaha jet ski...pretty much a great deal for a 1998 model. It came from Camden New York, we were just driving over there to spend the day and there is this jet ski sitting on the corner so we stopped in and asked the owner if he would like to sell it. Luckyly the previous owner doesn't want to do anything about it anymore so they sold it on us. I can't wait for the weather to get warm so we can start it up and have fun on the water. Check it out!

My husband and myself decided to go online and purchase stuff we need during the holiday. It was really great since we don't need to go out and spend more money for gas to drive to the mall plus the stuff we bought at BF are so cheap we are so happy about it. BF site really help save us money. You too can save money when shopping for Christmas by buying items during Black Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving. In black friday sales is when major retailers around the country discount products to help kick off the Christmas shopping season. This Black Friday ads are usually kept secret until you receive the circulars in your Thanksgiving Day newspaper. However at Black-Friday.net, they give you the advantage by showing you all of the Black Friday 2008 ads before anyone else. They also offer direct links to each product so you can purchase the items online on Black Friday without having to stand in line at the store at 5 am. The site also offers email alerts that let you know when new black friday ads have been posted. They tried to make it a consumer friendly site that was useful for planning your holiday shopping last year. Visit them online so you know what I am talking about!

I been sitting in front of the computer hoping to finish the offer I got but my son kept on pulling my shirt wanted to play. Kind of hard to finish my assignment while playing same time. But my son is very persistent so we went out for a walk and ended down in the little creek close to our house. We throw some stone on the water and make our wish. We both say our wish while raising both hands holding and said together forever.

My husband has been collecting old coins since he was little, he kept those coins for years and years. It's so amazing how each coin's value at this time differ from the original amount. You can even get 3 dollars for each dime depends on its condition. As we are browsing online we saw a collectible coins. This United States Mint Silver Proof Set has never been touched by human hand, sealed in a transparent box. It has a Certificate of Authenticity 2006 United States Mint Silver Proof Set. We bought this set for Jarred the year when he was born. Check out the pictures I posted here.

Filipino Foods

It's been a while since I bought Filipino foods so yesterday morning we drove to Syracuse to buy food from the Asian store. We spent 60 dollars for assorted vegetables, dried fish, shrimp fry, mango and coconut milk, and hot pepper. One of the things a Filipino would miss when he/she migrate is the foods that we usually eat. We can never get away with with it. For me its always my favorite.

My mother-in-law and father-in-law just arrived from Florida last Monday. Long drive...on the way home they stopped in Virginia for the night. Every year they come over to spend time with the family. And when winter comes they go back to Florida because at their age it is hard for them to bear the cold season. My mother-in-law give me this pretty knick knack where in I can put my jewelry. I love the design of the top. I have jewelries collected when I was in the Philippines and I really need something to put it. I'm so ecstatic when I saw what my mother-in-law gave me. Thanks mom.
