our bunnies

Wuzzy and Beary had a big fight last night. Their cage were still outdoors in our deck. Never had a time when we see them fight since we got them from the zoo. Suddenly we heard a big thud and looked around were it came from. The bunnies are fighting, biting each others ear. We get the bunnies out of the cage. Daddy holding Beary on his arm and upon checking on Beary we realized that he was hurt. Poor bunny... Wuzzy was the bigger bunny and he seems okay. Later on we put Beary back on his cage and the two were playing again.

Car insurance

Usually it's something that you don't think too much until you really need it and then sometimes find out how good it is. Your car insurance pricing and what they cover in the policy is at least one thing in life that you should read to make sure what you are covered for. We found by shopping around that by increasing our deductible we save two hundred and fifteen a year which help our budget a lot.

Mushroom

Have you seen a big mushroom like this one? I don't know what kind it is but one thing I am sure of this mushroom is real. The kids found it at grandma and grandpa's backyard. About twice the size of the head of an adult. We get rid of it so the kids can't play with it. Who knows maybe the mushroom is poisonous. We don't want any one of the kids to be in trouble.

Rainy Day Fund

When we went to the Christmas Tree store with grandma Westcott we saw a lot of beautiful things to buy which are reasonably affordable. We went on every isle and found some decorations for Halloween. On one corner we saw a pile of ceramic bottles with beautiful designs on it and grandma westcott picked two, one for Lilly and one for Jarred and paid for them on the counter. Jarred's piggy bank is already full and this bottle bank will definitely be useful for him to use someday on a rainy day.

Octopus.co.uk

Once in a while it is good to travel and unwind to get away from the hectic work all year round. You can travel through the airplane, through your car or even through the boat. I had the chance to travel with my family so I went online searching and I found Octopus.co.uk. Unbelievable, so many things that we were looking for were all incorporated on one site. We needed a place to dock our boat, we found it. We also wanted to go fishing on one of them group boats out in deep water. Our boat is very small. We stay close to our marina. We've never gone diving and it was pretty inexpensive we thought to actually learn to dive and then actually go on a dive of an old ship of course with our instructor. It was the journey of a lifetime for us.

My brave little man doesn't have any problem at all taking the medicine to his mouth and swallowed it. I hope he will get better soon.

We watched it anyhow and when the movie is over we gave the conclusion that it's an eahhh movie. Good thing we didn't buy that CD.

I am impressed when another web design company offers in helping us build our very own website. It is not easy for us as a beginner to venture on building web site especially with the little knowledge that we have. How to get our site up and running would not be easy without the proper help of the proper person with such a professional knowledge in cyberspace. I think it is one of the best ways to keep our business growing, more people can access our site with simplicity and easy result. With the right portfolio of the site it would maintain the visitors of the site and perhaps even grow more and that is what we really need to let the people know of our services in our business. This web design company has the best knowledge how to help us start the web page that is tailored to our business needs . They do it all for us. No problem, no hassle. Steps are easy just like one, two and three. Discussing the look of your site, they create, and boost your business to the market.

We will miss you Mom and Dad.

It's hot outside, your car should be cold

How would you feel if your auto air conditioning is not working right? On my husband's case he went down to Florida to pick up the truck that he bought online but the problem he had when he started the AC was it didn't work. He was frustrated when it happen besides the weather is too hot even if he rolled down the window to get some fresh air. Driving all the way home is a big trial to him without an AC in the car. As soon as he came home he went online and finally ordered the AC compressor. It's nice to know that the site he went to has all the auto air conditioning parts that he need. There's no worry for shipping because in case something can go wrong to the order there's a warranty of every parts.

I couldn't believe how time change so fast. I was only 15 years old when I started helping my uncle at their restaurant. They own a pretty size restaurant and after graduation in high school my parents couldn't afford for my college anymore so I decided to wait and find a job somehow to earn money and help my parents to support for our daily consumption. I ended up in my uncle's restaurant slicing meat which is not an easy job for me. Being cautious in doing it is important for safety. It's tough to slice meat when your carving knives and steak knives are so dull, it will take most of your time doing it. Working in a restaurant is a fast paced work so I had to do my part in catching up or else there's not going to have any food cooked for the customers and I might lose my job then. Working there gives me a lot of advantage because I get to watch my uncle cook the foods and learn his secret recipes which I can use now in my own kitchen. I guess cooking talent is in our blood because my two uncles are now chef on different well known hotels. My uncle work as a chef in one of the hotels in the Marianas Island while my youngest uncle is a chef in their town in the Philippines. Now that I am a chef in my house I always make sure that I have the best knives to use and always making sure that our knives works perfectly nice and sharp. I never had a dull moment in cooking. It is always fun and I am happy to see that my husband and children enjoyed the meals I prepared for us and an appreciation that they give me to prepare the food makes me happy.

Garden on a pot

I don't want to give up my garden just yet. The green peppers are still have flowers on them but the cold weather is going to kill them if I don't do anything for it. So I decided to scoop the plant carefully and transfer it to the pot that way I could bring inside and put them by the window. I hope that I could still get fruits from it.

fence installation

Posted by Malou at 9/23/2008 10:29:00 PM 0 comments Links to this post
It's amazing these days. So many different kinds of fences wood ones, vinyl ones, steel ones. Being that it's an outside cosmetic addition you have to make sure that the fence installation is done correctly. Today's experts used line levels, dry lines, and spinning laser levels with the installation. On top of that sometimes they have to redo the grade of the land that needs the fence. It's a lot of work that should be left to the specialist.

peanut butter and jelly

I never thought that you can combine peanut butter and jelly as a sandwich. First time I've seen my husband eat it I was so amazed because I never tried it way back when I was in the Philippines. Peanut butter alone is the best sandwich for me but when I tried PBJ I found out that I really liked it. I had a PBJ again tonight as a snack. So funny when I realized that PBJ is common here in the states. (lol)

Does your business accept credit cards??

Posted by Malou at 9/23/2008 06:05:00 PM 0 comments Links to this post
Even though we had a great product people sometimes were irritated with us waiting so long for checks to clear when they send us one through the mail, and then of course trying to save a dollar people would pick snail mail for us to mail our product to them. I think that a lot of people stayed away from us, now that we accept credit cards our business has picked up eighteen percent. With this secured site people don't have to worry about losing the check in the mail and it works so fast. The 18% additional sale has also allowed my husband to quit his job and help me more.

So we put all the toys in the box and drop it to salvation army to donate. So glad Maddy's room was cleaned up for more space to play.

get ready for winter

My first step to get ready for winter is to prepare our winter clothes. So I cleaned up our closet and dig for our winter clothes, jackets, coats, boots, gloves in preparation for winter. The clothes , jackets and coats were washed and cleaned before they were kept last year but since it's sitting there for a long period of time, somehow a little dust and smell linger on them. I finally took them all out and decided to put them in the wash tomorrow. Better do it earlier than waiting 'till the last minute.

Not ripe for picking

I don't know what happened to our tomatoe plant. Until now the tomatoe fruits were not ripe yet and sometimes frost came in the morning and I'm afraid that frost might kill the plant so I decided to pick them up and hope that maybe by doing it it will ripen somehow. And we also heard from other people that most of their tomatoes didn't ripen either.

online auto insurance quotes

If money is so tight you can't imagine saving two bucks a month on paying for your auto insurance. We have two vehicles but my husband has been paying for two even if the other one on the garage wasn't used on the road. He only used it for few occasions last year and in the mean time we are stuck on paying for it. We decided to cancel the insurance since we rarely used it anymore and will serve as a back up vehicle and look for a better online auto insurance quotes to save us some money. We also decided that it would definitely make a difference when we do that.

water ring removal

How do you make your coffee? I like it very hot and with one teaspoon of sugar on a cup, a teaspoon of cream, and 3/4 teaspoon of instant coffee. Although its easy to make it, the water that runs through the coffee maker leave white hard water ring inside the coffee maker glass. How to clean it is not a big deal to me. Just pour two cups of water inside the coffee maker and add vinegar enough to fill the glass with warm water along with the vinegar mixed in it as it go down into the glass. Leave it for few minutes then let the vinegar work its magic to it. Use non abrasive scrub pad to get at any bits that haven't dissolve. Then rinse well with water. You'll see magic that will happen to your coffee maker. It's like brand new again.

Turbocharge your ride!!

My husband liked to upgrade his Isuzu vehicross ironman triathlon edition truck and somehow putting in some additional gadget on its speed. Pretty much understandable for the kind of sports truck that he had. It's only once in a blue moon that he find this special edition truck. Sometimes I tease him by saying "it's all about the truck". Now we know where to get turbochargers. Even if you need vw turbo you can easily find it online and the good news is any other model you look for they have your unit in stock.

Here comes the train

Jessica's house is close to the railroad. One time when we were at their house for a visit Jarred started out running in the front yard while pulling daddy outdoors to watch the coming train. He gets so excited seeing the train coming. He even raised his arms and said "toot" "toot" and wave to the train until it's gone which is so funny. The most precious moment to see. So on his birthday Daddy bought him a toy train but wasn't satisfied because the one's that he wanted to give him wasn't there. Finally, when they were shopping yesterday for Jarred's cousins birthday gift daddy spotted a remote controlled toy train and was so ecstatic to pay for it on the counter. That's for our little boy he said. Jarred couldn't get himself settled until daddy assembled it for him. Jarred's so happy. It's the late birthday gift for our little boy. Giving daddy a big hug for saying thank you daddy.

It's great when someone categorizes and pretty much indexes a lot of services into one area. Sometimes it is real tough looking for a particular product online. web hosting took away all the hard answers to the questions we had about our site, it helps others as it help us to locate and steer customers toward our end goal of getting them to our site. To be all to click on a quick link and they turned up at our site is great. It helps us and help our web host its a win win game. We thank them so much everyday when we count the hits on our site.

Wittley

Posted by Malou at 9/21/2008 07:57:00 PM 0 comments Links to this post
My husband had seen it about ten years ago but they wanted a lot of money for this new to market talking little bear like creature. So price wise he couldn't afford it but years went by and he spotted Wittley at wal-mart discounted to $85.00 so he was his, if in fact he is a he. Who knows?! Wittley has a separate activity slate that you can push buttons and make up different stories along with games. He then recites the stories back to you in his voice along with turning his head blinking his eyes in incredible facial expressions. It's fun to watch the children looking at Wittley not knowing whether he is for real and if he is, is he a good creature or bad? He seems fun but maybe a little too real and that's so unexpected of a stuffed creature.
