TV stands

Its so amazing how tools in this modern world can make a lot of difference when it comes to using it in creating artworks along with designing cabinets, tv stands and many other home furnitures. I have seen incredible designs of TV stands on the Internet and I think that what makes it really cool is the kind of material they used. Furnitures made of solid wood will last for many years.

Road risks

While driving on the road have you ever noticed people driving their car while talking on cell phone? How about talking to a passenger; and some drivers putting on their makeup in a car? Talking about the distraction here...I think I am paranoid of the whole ordeal. Those scenarios are not new to me. Some drivers who doesn't care if they create a chaos on the road. Pardon me I am just so concerned of everybody along with having a child on the car. These are only some of the risky behaviours that I observed.

bamboo blinds

Posted by Malou at 12/29/2008 05:38:00 PM 2 comments
My husband and myself bought this old Victorian house or miniature castle pending on which way you look on it. We like to call it our miniature castle. First re-doing the bathroom then all new windows. It seem like it took forever. The kitchen floor stayed bare backer board for quite sometime. We couldn't agree on what flooring until we seen some beautiful bamboo flooring. It set the kitchen off so beautifully. To finish it off we added the bamboo blinds to complete our fantastic kitchen.

A long road to the Adirondacks

Posted by Malou at 12/29/2008 02:57:00 PM 5 comments
I never been to the Adirondack mountains and I thought summer would be the best time to see it but it was definitely the wrong assumption. I got to see the beauty of it when we picked up the new snow mobile that daddy just won from eBay. Just couldn't resist the temptation so now our other snowmobile that he also bought from eBay is for sale. It was a long drive from home but I was so entertained by the surroundings. I took many photos on the road. They all looked like a postcard in fact I've already sent some pictures to my friends to see. They were all impressed by the pictures. It's worth a drive down there. It's a new experience to all of us. You'll learn more of its immense beauty when you visit http://visitadirondacks.com/. Here's the snap shots.

Textbooks

Do you like reading books? From fiction to non-fiction I love them all. When ever I get the chance to go to the mall I always visit the bookstore and look at the new interesting collection displayed on the rack. Browsing for books online also makes it easier and quicker for me to look for textbooks that I been searching especially an this time of the year that its so cold Im not comfortable of going outdoors. In an online bookstore I just need to type in the title of the book on the search bar and then you're there. I love how easy transaction has been made through an online bookstore.

Opps I did it again!

Oh my goodness here I am again. What's up with this lady thing. Most of the woman I know change their minds over something they do and don't want to do. That includes me hehehe...Once again I got myself into trouble! Two weeks ago I refrain myself from checking the online stores and promise to hold back saying nope I'm not going to buy anything. But this store had so many nice stuff and I find myself adding items on the cart. Oh well, a friend says its about time you buy something for yourself too. Here's the store where I bought my tops and jackets. http://www.papayaclothing.com/shop/ . You may also click on the title of this post to go to that site. Awesome store!

I was tagged by Rose. This tag requires posting a picture when I was a high school. I left my old pictures in the Philippines so I don't have much to post in here. In order to continue this tag I ask my sister to send me one of my graduation picture in high school. She sent it through email and this is what it looks like. So funny to reminisce the old times. This one is a serious look of me.

This other picture was taken after the graduation ceremony. Beside me is my Mama who went up the stage with me to accept my diploma.

Now I am tagging all my friends here. Please feel free to grab this tag. Have fun guys!!! :-)

Our Christmas Tree

Posted by Malou at 12/15/2008 06:33:00 PM 6 comments
We finally got our Christmas Tree decorated yesterday! After going around and around on it putting on all the pretty stuff we finally got done. We liked a real tree but it amazed me how expensive real trees these days. We could of had bought a tree with roots on it so we can replant it in our front yard and then used it for the next years but the neighbors will think we are crazy in the head. hahaha! Here's our Christmas tree this year.

The other picture here is the one limb we cut off the tree. The kids also decorated it which i think is real cute.

cheap diet pills

Posted by Malou at 12/14/2008 10:16:00 AM 0 comments
In today's world saving money has turned into an art and picking quality or sometimes quantity. You always compare the lesser of two evils. I gained about ten pounds in the last few years. I tried to get rid of it by watching my intake of specific foods but it didn't seems to help much so I was glad to found a site that offered cheap diet pills. They took all the searching and questions that I had away because they did all the research on the good the bad and ugly pills which help me pick the ones that work right for me.

Chapped lips

Posted by Malou at 12/09/2008 06:18:00 PM 5 comments
Ouchy! That is what happened when you combine the cold of winter with the dryness from indoor heating systems. Chapped lips. The best remedy for cracked chapped burning lips is lip balm. I never run out of it. It's my buddy where ever I go.

There's a lot of products like that that you can buy but I like using Chap Stick. Lip balm is best work when you reapply it regularly and frequently throughout the day to both protect and heal.

My craving

Posted by Malou at 12/08/2008 10:10:00 PM 4 comments
What's up with this late night snacking? At night I used to do that when I was pregnant but that was pickle and ice cream. My husband brought home some Andy Capps hot fries to snack on.

They have an oven bake crunch to them and zero grams transfat. They are a corn and potato snack. They also have cheddar fries, hot chili cheese steak fries, and one of the originals steak fries with light cheddar.

My husband started eating them and notice the ingredients. They have a preservative in them which is monosodium glutamate which he can't have. It burns his stomach but I am very happy. Now I can eat the rest of the bag hhhhhhmmnnn. (lol!)

Daddy's New Toy

We finally figure out ebay. You go on there not expecting to win. You bid a lot low then when the auction is over, if you see the item didn't sell contact the owner after the bidding is over so not to interfere with ebay and just give the owner a cheap asking price to see if he may sell the item instead of re-listing it on ebay, where it would cost him more money for the re-listing. And it finally paid off for us.

We been looking for a reasonable price snow mobile for quite sometime. My husband's ebay site had over forty eight snow mobiles that he bid low on it. Four of them didn't sell because their reserve price wasn't made.

So he contacted the owner and one called him back with approximately a four hundred dollar savings on the purchase of our snow mobile. It took him a week of going crazy checking on every snow mobile back and forth back and forth with emails to the sellers but it payed off. So how do you like our new Arctic Cat snow mobile? It's used but it looks pretty darn new.

Westgate

Posted by Malou at 12/07/2008 08:25:00 PM 0 comments
Traveling around the world as a sales girl, my friend experienced so many beautiful places. When she tells me a story sometimes I am in disbelief. There's been a lot of nice places that she has stayed. Only a few were horror stories. But when she gets back to the states she always looks for a gorgeous place to stay. She always calls Westgate for reservation. Her mom and dad lived just outside of Orlando Florida. Not much room in their small house so she stays and enjoy in the amenities of the hotel along with inviting her mom and dad over.

white out

Posted by Malou at 12/07/2008 08:02:00 PM 0 comments
If in my country we have what we called blackout or commonly known as brown out, over here we also have white out. White out in the sense when a snow storm was pushed by a gust of wind where you can't see nothing. It is this hard pit in your stomach that you feel especially when you are driving down the road pulling a boat behind you. Real scary.

This is just what I been looking for. My husband sometimes requires to work outdoors and at this kind of weather this jacket is just perfect to get warm because of the material they use. It pays off when you browse online to find what you really looking for. This waterproof, insulated, reversible jacket is just what I been looking for my husband to use at work.

ellipticals

They say that mother's house work is never get done. It was true in my case especially when you have kids running around the house. You just picked up the mess and when you turned around there's a new mess again. That is why exercising is important to keeping in shape. When you only have a few minute in a day to exercise, ellipticals were very useful for your workout. A site on the Internet that I found carry a lot of designs in work out machines. One of them that I like is the space saver. I am considering buying this for the holiday season.

Self-serve gas stations

Posted by Malou at 12/06/2008 01:45:00 PM 1 comments
Self-serve gas stations. That's what I observed over here. Unlike in my country that some gas stations employ a person that will take care of filling up your vehicle. You just tell them how much gas you want them put in your vehicle's tank. Then you have the options to pay the amount to the attendant or go inside the gas station and pay. It's a great advantage for people over here though to have a different set up. It's all high tech. If you want to use your credit card you can without too much fuss then you'll be all set to fill up your tank with only a swipe of your credit card.

exit sign

Posted by Malou at 12/06/2008 01:37:00 PM 0 comments
After twenty years in our apartment complex the exit sign above the door have become quite unfixable. The parts for repair were obsolete. Today's pricing on a replacement unit is actually cheaper than re-building one not to mention it's a better looking unit. So we decided to go all new and it made the guy installing them so happy because they don't have to rebuild the old ones. The job went quite quickly on the installation so it was a win win time for all.

That's what happened to me one time when Jarred had used all the pages of his coloring books so what I did is to make use of our program creating a fun and interesting coloring page for him. You know keeping him busy at times. Please feel free to share some ideas of yours.

Discover The Best Options For Quality Elder Care

It seems like a never ending journey. My grandmother was in her age. At first we all took turns going to grandma's house and helping out. She was a very strong lady. Eventually the needs of my grandmother were above what my family and myself could take care of. For about three months in the summer we had a nurse that was a friend of the family come over and help us. It was so draining on all of us but we knew it was time for senior placement. It was tough to find the right place for my grandmother's needs. We were thankful when our nurse friend mentioned http://www.accentonseniors.com/. We were so pleased of the help that they gave us.

Click and buy online

Posted by Malou at 12/04/2008 01:15:00 PM 1 comments
In just a short period of time I learned how to click and buy online for some of the things that I wanted to get. It's so easy how to deal with it with only your computer and your credit card involved without actually leaving your home. But as soon as I received the package of the things that I bought it makes me want to get some more. Yes it's addicting so I forced myself to stay away from it for a while.

Anger management in my views

Posted by Malou at 12/04/2008 08:33:00 AM 2 comments
There are things in this world that we can't control that sometimes it leads to what we call frustration. When you are frustrated with something you'd like to do but couldn't happen what should you do? How do you handle the situation when you are angry?

To give answers to these questions of course, we should determine what's the cause of the problem. Think before you act and learn how to control your anger. Feeling emotion isn't the same or acting on it. When you're boiling with rage think if that's the place to vent or you might want to find a private place to vent out.

Each year we search and search and search for our next vacation site. Its like a treasure hunt for me even trying to calculate the weather is a task. After a long awaited search my husband thought I was going to stay glued to the computer for the rest of my life. In my search we finally decided on Outer Banks as our destination. Now I am back to the computer to do the final planning. With this site things got really easy. The pictures are beautiful we even set up a rental of a nice four by four truck as our vehicle for getting around.

December allergy

Posted by Malou at 12/03/2008 08:31:00 PM 1 comments
December allergy alert is on its way. Why? It's always good to know some very important details to stop the cause of your child's allergies. Holiday decorations can trigger allergies. Did you know that holiday smell like scented candles, potpourri and incense can irritate and inflame your child's airways? Yes that's true. And when you buy your Christmas tree make sure to shake it to remove mold and loose needles. When you decide to have an artificial tree make sure you wipe the dust on it. Lastly, if you have old decorations that have been in storage wipe them down with damp cloth to remove the dust. In doing so your little angels will be safe from these annoying allergies.

Bacteria and viruses everywhere

Posted by Malou at 12/03/2008 02:59:00 PM 0 comments
On our way home from the store the kids pointed their fingers to one fast food playhouse. They really like to go but we turned around and continue driving home. They were a little upset about that but the germs that they could get from playing on it could make them sick and that is the least that we want to happen specially this winter season where kids are more prone to viruses.

Actually there are hot spots where you and your kids can get bacteria and viruses. They lurk into just about anywhere. They really love to hang out on some of the stuff parents have to touch constantly. These are grocery-cart handles, playground equipment and the kitchen sink. Make sure to wash always your hands before going eat.

lighting fixtures

Posted by Malou at 12/01/2008 07:06:00 AM 0 comments
In today's world of lighting fixtures so many different styles from antique to modern multi-tiered crystal chandeliers. When we went shopping to change over our lighting fixtures in our house we thought we'd spent a couple of hours. Yeah right we ended up between two places spending four and a half hours. We wanted everything to match up. We ended up with multi- tiered beveled glass chandeliers. The biggest one was three tiers then two tiers then one tier. Between all of them there's thirty eight flame tipped bulbs which give off a beautiful light exhibit.

anti virus protection

Posted by Malou at 11/30/2008 01:10:00 PM 0 comments
There are so many antivirus protection programs nowadays to choose from that you would never realize which one is better unless you tried them all. Our new laptop computer has already have a virus protection on it installed when we bought it, the same program we been using for quite sometime now on our old computer. It runs good but recently a pop up on the bottom screen on my pc saying you have 19 days before your antivirus protection runs out. Keeps on popping up but I just ignored it.
Then one day when I open to use the computer it says you are not fully protected. What the heck! I checked on the expiration date but it's not over yet. Do they really want me to subscribe the new one? Is this their way of forcing you to buy the program? So to fix the problem we buy the new subscription for the whole year and finally the problem was all fixed. I think they just do this to get their money early and give you less of the free program that came with the purchase of the new pc.

cerebral palsy lawyers

Every parent only want the best for their child and having a baby born healthy is one of the wishes that a parent is yearning for. But sometimes these wishes are gone with the wind when the baby and the mother was put into danger. Injuries caused before, during or after birth caused by medical mistakes or negligence of the doctors or nurses taking care of the baby and the mother. That if it was taken care of a prevention could have made at an earlier period of time so this injury that results to cerebral palsy or permanent brain damage can be avoided. It is always good to know cerebral palsy lawyers who will review your situation, defend your rights, and claim what these tragedies have taken away from you.

early supper

Posted by Malou at 11/29/2008 02:25:00 PM 2 comments
We have a heavy breakfast this morning about nine o'clock in the morning and everybody is busy after that. Maddy was playing with Jarred for a while running around inside the house and playing on their made up fort. About 11:30 when daddy and Maddy took off to check Jessica's heating problem a few miles from us. I got so many things to do inside the house and make sure all of them are done before they come back. They didn't get home until two o'clock in the afternoon a little late for lunch so we decided to have an early supper instead. We bought sea foods yesterday and decided to cook them tonight. While waiting for the food to get done daddy, Maddy and Jarred went outdoors to play in the snow again. Weekends are always the busiest days for us.

hot bath ..a relaxation

Posted by Malou at 11/29/2008 01:00:00 PM 0 comments
After playing out on the cold snow for hours it feels good to the bones and muscles to have a hot bath. Way back in my country some of our old folks said "don't take a bath when you are really tired until your muscles get some rest because you are going to get sick". Some follow this belief but some don't. This belief makes me smile because when I get here the temperature is opposite. The cold weather makes me want to stay in the warm water for hours even if I'm tired because it soothes my aching muscles and makes me relax and have a good night sleep.

Digital Scales

Reaching or maintaining a healthy weight pays off in many ways. It lowers your risk for heart disease and many other advantages. And of course nearly every people was conscious of how they lose or gain weight. There's an easy way to monitor your weight and you can have more at ease having digital scales around to check on your weight. Speaking about digital scales, a site on the internet carry different styles of scales from designs and colors of your choice that fits your needs. Their scales are enhanced to fit in any area placed in your home. Personally, I like the midnight blue round escali glass bathroom scale that matched the color of our bathroom floor.

Fuel

Posted by Malou at 11/29/2008 08:34:00 AM 0 comments
The incredible price of fuel to heat your house these days being in New York State, we have at least six months of cold sometimes even starting the third week in September. Have you ever had to send your children out on Halloween with the snow mobile suit on this year? It did snow four days before Halloween but we got sort of lucky on Halloween. The temperature went to 50 degrees its crazy some days can be 40 degrees difference between night and day. Our house doesn't really use that much fuel but they charge you a delivery charge. It's not like there's a truck that brings a fuel here. It comes in gas lines under the ground. They charge you for how far you are away from the station. The cost of delivery is 80 percent of the fuel cost. How ridiculous! The price of car gas has dropped drastically but the price of fuel gas doesn't seem to come down at all. Choosing between heating your house and putting food on your table is a huge decision that no one in this world should have to make.

It has been a while since Jarred's last doctors appointment and last thursday morning we missed a call from the doctors office and so I returned their call and asked what was it all about. We set up appointment for Jarred's regular physical shot. It is always nice to keep a journal to jot down notes. December 3rd at 11:30 in the morning was marked on the calendar. I don't want to miss it.

Bad day for Lindsay

Posted by Malou at 11/26/2008 07:29:00 AM 4 comments
A loud knock on the door startled me up yesterday afternoon. I opened the door to see who it was and saw Lindsay so excited and I can see her flustered face. She said to me "Can you help me"? and I replied "How may I help you"? She pointed to her car out in the driveway and saw its rear almost halfway to the middle of the road, front facing the driveway. The car got stuck on the snow so I went out and take a closer look on the situation. Hmmnn not much that I can do to push the car to get it out off the snow and I am littler compared to her (I thought). So I grabbed the shovel and started shoveling the snow off from the two tires.
After removing the snow around the tires she started her car again to see if she'll make it out of the driveway but still it doesn't want to go. We shovelled some more. After few minutes I said "why don't we try it again I will push the car and you drive". Funny but we can't even move the car fighting with us not wanting to do what we want to happen. She went out of the car again slammed the door.
That's even more frustrating after realizing that she locked the door of the car, the key in the ignition and engine still running. I laughed to the situation trying to calm her down. She had an extra set of key but not sure where she put it. She looked in her apartment but worse than ever couldn't find it. She called her sister to get hold of her parents to let them know of her predicament. Her sister Jessica came over to help pry the door open but to no avail. Thank goodness to our next door neighbor who just came home from work and saw what were doing. He came over to help us out of the whole ordeal. Thanks a lot.

Last year me and my husband talked about selling our motorcycle because we really didn't use it anymore. But we came to realize later that by using it in spring and summer we will save a lot on gas because it gets fifty six miles to one gallon. So my husband went online and found a site that sell bike parts which is perfect for buying customized parts. That's just what we need to upgrade the motorcycle.

The other day we discovered that we had the Disney channel. Didn't realize that they added it to our network. Our two year old is so excited. We don't know how they added it but they did. He is dancing around with excitement. I think it's also the bright colors of the Disney channel along with some of it is Spanish words that sound like Tagalog words and he says them back to mommy. I think our son is going to be a tri-lingual person its so funny sometimes.

Make Money while traveling

Attention mom's like me or other people who would like to earn thousands of dollars a month. Do you like traveling? Work on your own time and no hassles from going back and forth to your office? Work from home, the hour is all yours to chose. As a mom of a two year old taking care of my little boy is of utmost importance to me but earning thousands of dollars a month would not be a bad idea. My principle is living life to the fullest and this opportunity is one of the things that I been looking for.

Re-building America

If you ask me if they want to turn this country around and it will help all of us in one way or another, forget about giving us extra money. You never know what each person will do it. Just have the government put the gas prices back to a dollar a gallon and diesel back to a reasonable rate for the truckers. If diesel drops everything else drops because all of our food and items are transferred by tractor trailers that run on diesel. Then by bringing the gas price to a dollar we personally used forty gallons a week. By saving us three dollars a gallon compared to four dollars which it was earlier this year, we personally would save a hundred plus dollar a week to put back in to the economy so the economy will grow strong by putting the money back. So the money that the government saves us at the pump will turn around and save the country.

shopping for christmas tree decoration

Posted by Malou at 11/25/2008 01:41:00 PM 4 comments
My friend asked me when are you going to start decorating your Christmas tree? I replied maybe next week. We went to Wal-Mart yesterday to buy our groceries which includes the food to cook for Thanksgiving. While inside the store we walked towards the Christmas tree isle and found plenty of Christmas decorations lined up on every shelf and picked up some of the beautiful garlands for our Christmas tree. We still have a lot of decorations from last year but I said maybe we change the look of our Christmas tree for this year by adding nice ribbons onto it. Not bad at all since the price are reasonable enough especially when you just buy a roll of ribbon and do it yourself.

Just about anything is easier nowadays when it comes to moving from one place to another. If you have collections to go with you it's easier to transport them without worrying of it's security and protection. You can find self storage boxes to put in your belongings with safety locks on it which can be delivered right at your destination. In case you need it you know where to go.

snowy morning

Snow dropped 6 inches today that make our driveway looked like a wonderland. The snow on the bare branches of the trees looked like white candies. Daddy went out to start to snow plow to make a path on the way out to the driveway. He finished an hour later and shovelled the snow from our roof. We are all going out later to play in the snow.

Christmas For Payatas

How many of us are aware of the tragedies that left the children of Payatas in an unfortunate condition? These children's lived with their families in an impoverished squatters picking up dumped items that they can sell to use that little amount of money to buy food for the day. This condition had worsen after the tragedy on the collapsed of the piled garbage that burned shacks where they lived when apparently the wires that had fallen onto them had caught fire. Up to this time the horrendous plight of this children had been one of the main concern of everybody. On the coming Christmas season it is the best time to share our gifts to bring a smile on these children faces. Watch the Christmas For Payatas video on YouTube which highlights the situation. It's a charity appeal to help raise donations for Christmas. There has already been many prominent supporters for this good cause from footballers, politicians, celebrities etc. Let us join hands and help bring the urgent needs of these children. Please check on the Press release below.

Press Release:
The landfill in Payatas, The Philippines, is notoriously known the world over as Smokey Mountain. For over 35 years, the smoking dump site has grown to become a stark and heart-tugging reminder of the desperate onditions of humanity.

On a daily basis, children pick through newly arrived garbage to
collect material to sell. The earnings made by one child are not enough to even buy food for the day. Hence, entire families are forced to climb the mountain each day, hoping to earn enough to feed everyone. Children as young as four years old are forced to work in this daily struggle for survival.

In response to the plight of these children, Totedaddy.com is working with Lighthouse Center For Children Foundation to bring a little cheer to the children this Christmas.

Totedaddy.com has kicked off with a cash sponsorship of USD 10,000 to enable the children to celebrate Christmas. FusionExcel International has also pitched in a USD 5,000 in cash sponsorship. The money raised
will help fund the projects already in place, and help fund additional projects aimed at providing better housing, and a means of livelihood for the Payatas community.

It is hoped that by creating better awareness to the plight of these children, more support can be garnered towards their betterment. Together we can bury poverty!

Yes, I might be repeating myself here but gosh I don't like snow no more. It just started but I can feel my bones so stiff from cold. I feel sad when there's no sunshine. Today is a dreary day, I would feel better if the sun shows up a little bit so we can play out doors. The sunshine is on and offm on and off. Since there's nothing to do that much I decided to tear up the house. I shampooed the rug, cleaned the couch, then later on I put jarred on the tub filled it with water and played with him for a while. After lunch he finally settled down and fall asleep. So there at least I have a little accomplishment today.

the how to's of the linoleum

Posted by Malou at 11/19/2008 10:47:00 PM 0 comments
The other day when I was cleaning the kitchen floor I have a nice linoleum in my kitchen and I've always been amazed or puzzled at how they got all them different colors in that floor. So identical I just had to google it to find out to my amazement. For every different color in the linoleum there is a different layer in the floor kinda like making a transparent cake with different colors that when you put all the layers together one overlaps the other that brings the total picture together. And then each layer of the linoleum goes through a kinda oven that gently melts one color into another forming one complete pattern like sewing a pattern over a pattern over a pattern 'till they're one complete piece. Amazing...

Mindful Living TV

In today's world it just seems like everybody is constantly extremely on the go. Its like an old cliche' that my mother once told me that you have to stop and smell the roses. It seems like every body's always worried about every little thing. If they would only slow down for a moment and focus, things might be a lot clearer. I think this all started in the seventies and just escalated over the last forty years. You ever have a conversation with someone and they stare right through you not even hearing what you said. After a while at my new job I really thought I was the only real person there. Everybody is so programmed that they are like little robot. I just put myself through little ingrains in my mind that keeps me focused just like as if I was putting myself through self improvement training. The day dreamers are the worst it seems it's tough to tell if they are in deep thought of the task at hand because you know thinking of a good plan is always a good way to get the job done quicker. But usually when they awake from that stare they're still blank in the face they must have been thinking about the supper or lunch. It was so nice about hearing the mindful living network it always seems to bring about a peaceful calm at the end of my monotonous day.

writing anything

Nearly everyone experiences writer's block when they start keeping a journal. When I do, I just remind myself that I am not trying to create literature for the ages but only trying to explore and understand my innermost feelings. It's always fun for me to go back on the dates wherein I wrote down entries which always fascinate me into what I thought or felt at different stages of my life.

Credit Counseling Site Review

I found my self falling., falling, falling in debt and I didn't stop to realize how I got there until I was there. So much debt it will take me ten years if I'm lucky by paying three times the minimal on my payment to get out. It's so easy to use a credit card it's not funny, and once you have credit they give you more and more credit. Learning to use one card of lower interest to pay off another card of higher interest seem to be a monthly habit but what I didn't read on my statement is that my money would go to the lower interest rate money on the card before it would pay off any of the higher rate money that I borrowed. So the interest compounded on the higher amount, month after month after month. So even paying three times my minimal it's still didn't really knocked down the monies that I owed. Most of my payment went to interest very little to principal. Finally I decided to look into consolidate debts it made things so much easier. My payments were about forty percent less by doing this. Thanks to a friend telling me this number debt- 866-253-1473 I'm back on track again.

Have you seen the new Indiana Jones the movie? Not a bad movie. Doesn't seem to be as exciting as the ones before but still full of impossible journey with impeccable odds against them. I think one of the best parts is where the fire ants eat the guy up and take him down into the ground in their nest. Harrison Ford's come back was very welcomed to us but we knew in the back of our mind that he'd be passing the torch to a younger Indie as in the son that he never knew whom comes to him in the movie.

My husband placed an order of checks at the same company where we ordered our old checks. We liked Versa check because of its superior quality. The printing is perfect which is a great extra feature for us. Ordering them online has no problem at all, the delivery is faster and very accurate. The bundle of checks that we received is so neat. We were impressed with service they give to their customers really awesome. Their checks would rescue you from a potential check crisis. In short we are totally happy to all the services they offered. I will be proud to recommend this site choicechecks.biz to my friends.

Everyone makes mistakes, and the worst thing you can do is berate yourself and dwell on them. Remind yourself that within every mistake is an opportunity for growth and renewal. You can't change what's already happened, but you can take the lessons you learned and apply them to the next challenge that comes along.

Getting a good night's sleep and doing that on a regular basis is one of the things that everyone can do to help manage the disease. It's believed that sleep is also the time the body repairs cellular damage, so it may be helpful for the immune system. I just wish I could have more than seven to ten hours of sleep. :-)

Are you addicted to the internet?

Posted by Malou at 11/12/2008 05:13:00 PM 1 comments
Internet is fun, entertaining, and informative. For me it is very useful tool for communication. But some people spend more time in front of the computer for what ever reason. How about you? Are you addicted to the internet? You know you are addicted to the Internet when...

* Your bookmark takes 15 minutes to scroll from top to bottom.
* Your eyeglasses have a web site burned into them.
* You find yourself brainstorming for new subjects to search.
* All your daydreaming is preoccupied with getting a faster connection to the Internet: 28.8...ISDN...cable modem...T1...T3
* And even your night dreams are in HTML.
* You find yourself typing "com" after every period when using a word processor.
* You turn off your modem and get this awful empty feeling, like you just pulled the plug on a loved one.
* You refer to going to the bathroom as downloading.
* You turn on your intercom when leaving the room so you can hear if new e-mail arrives.
* All of your friends have an @ in their names.
* Your dog has its own home page.
* You check your mail. It says "no new messages." So you check it again.
* Your phone bill comes to your doorstep in a box.
* You code your homework in HTML and give your instructor the URL.
* You wake up at 3 am to go to the bathroom and stop and check your e-mail on the way back to bed.
* Your wife makes a new rule: the computer can't come to bed.
* You forget what year it is.
* You start to tilt your head sideways to smile. :-)
* You begin to wonder how on earth your service provider is allowed to call 200 hours a month "unlimited."
* Your wife says communication is important in a marriage so you buy another computer and install a second phone line so the two of you can chat.
* As your car crashes through the guardrail on a mountain road, your first instinct is to search for the "back" button.

Thank goodness for the health insurance plan that covers the cost for my previous maternity for without it I don't know how we get through the bills from medical check up's until I gave birth to my son. Nowadays it is very important for a family to have health insurance god forbid if something happened. But considering the cost of the type of insurance that you will get, it's wiser to shop around for health insurance quote to consider what your family will get for the best coverage and most reasonable price that you will pay.

Fuel charges

Posted by Malou at 11/10/2008 07:55:00 PM 3 comments
What's the world coming to when we all know that fuel heating prices are so high so we cut back, cut back, and cut back. But even after all the prices so high that were buying a wood stove because we have lots of wood outback. It will only take one winter season to get our money back on the wood stove. The only problem with the wood stove is trying to keep it adjusted right in your home either too hot or too cold and all the hard work of cutting and splitting and hauling up all the wood to save approximately seventeen hundred dollars a winter season in fuel.

I remember my school days of yesteryear's growing up with my friends in my neighborhood and school seemed like an everyday crises keeping up with the Joneses cliche'. She was fortunate enough to have an understanding parents. My friend with her glandular problems and gaining so much weight her parents insurance almost covered everything. Going to the Beverly Hills liposuction really started her whole transference into today's appearance. It seemed like everything was on the up and up but then getting pregnant she started to fall apart again. Sitting there in recovery room from having her baby beautiful little boy by the way it was all worth it. Her mom came in and of all things she took the pictures of course of her grandson son and her daughter. About two months later she showed her all the pictures. Between getting pregnant getting a little older she decided to seek out a Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon . After setting up her appointment and having to cancel it because my friend wanted her husband there and he couldn't make it that day. My friend rescheduled, she needed a little of this and a little of that so she started her transition back to her young looking self it was great. I even started noticing my friend's terrific difference so she referred our other friends to the surgeon. After doing all this there was really only one thing left to do so she set up an appointment with the Los Angeles breast augmentation doctors. Even her husband now gets a little jealous at the younger guys looking at my friend. As for her, she loves it.

head lice and health

Posted by Malou at 11/06/2008 05:37:00 PM 1 comments
Head lice is common to kids. Head lice are awful, embarrassing and yucky! It is so annoying to have it. When not taking care of it gets worse and cause an infection. Head Lice is highly contagious and can easily be spread by sharing hygiene items such as a comb or hairbrush, as well as clothing like hats or hair accessories. Removing lice from your hair with a fine-toothed comb will help eliminate the problem but needs too much work. There are some alternatives to head lice removal which you can find at the stores. It's nice to find products that would take care of head lice. These little lice are potentially harmful so finding an effective way to win the war against head lice and keep it away is necessary. It is better avoid close contact with anyone until your lice are completely gone. Once your head lice were treated, cleaning clothes, towels, sheets and blankets you use during treatment must be machine washed. It's better to use hot water in washing them and also dry them in a hot dryer. You can also iron them if you don't have a washer and dryer, have them dry cleaned or hang them outside for two days. After doing all this work the war against the head lice will be won.

I love wearing hat specially when we were out in the sun. While browsing online I found a nice looking Galco hat made of saddle leather, ballistic nylon, and horsehide. The brand is one of the famous and popular choice of Hollywood's stars because of its quality. It is not only used by military enforcement but also by civilians. Check them out to find more of their famous military gears.

It's Mine..

Have you ever noticed that toddlers usually have two favorite words to say? "IT'S MINE" is so popular at their age. Here is a funny joke about it.

TODDLER'S CREED

If I want it, it's mine.
If I give it to you and change my mind later, it's mine.
If I can take it away from you, it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
If it's mine it will never belong to anyone else no matter what.
If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.
If it looks like mine, it's mine.

It's always good to know of means how to make your home accident proof for everybody by installing walk in tubs for your love one who had difficulty to transfer in and out of the bath. So amazing how you can design your bath tub so it would be comfortable and enjoy the relaxing feeling on the jets installed into your tub. I wish I had one of those installed in our house so my brother who is handicapped can easily step in without any worries of falling.

Holiday shopping promotion

Christmas is fast approaching and from the displays on the store shelves you can feel that Christmas is in the air already. Lots of Christmas decorations on stores. Although I like to shop around for things we'd like to get for Christmas the prices are still ridiculous. It's nice to know some occasions where you can actually buy expensive stuff that are reduced for a lower price. Shopping for a holiday is much easier now from the comfort of our home. By finding black friday ads anyone can find whatever they are looking for. With just a click of the mouse, shoppers can buy nearly any product online pay for their purchases without leaving the comfort of home. How easy it is nowadays to do transactions with using the Internet. I am still amazed by this exciting tool that not only puts vast information at your fingertips but expands your shopping options like never before. One of the things that I don't like when shopping is to stand in line at the store waiting from 5 a.m just to get what I wanted to buy on sale. It's such a waste of time waiting. Since we are planning to buy a new computer we browsed a lot of options from bestbuy deals which we thought would be the nice place to get what we need.

buying auto parts online

Posted by Malou at 11/04/2008 05:11:00 PM 0 comments
I've always dreaded going to auto parts store trying to find different parts. Without the help of an assistant is tough and the assistants are always busy at the front desk. You wait in line for thirty minutes just so they can point in a direction to what you are looking for and then get back in line again. It's so much easier to browse an online catalog, no rushing around to try to beat the crowd. A great catalog is at http://www.greatautoparts.com/ just too convenient.

Isn't it so handy these days that when you want to do something with power tools you don't even need a lead cord. With today's 18 volt battery tools just keep your batteries charged and you have your needs in tools covered. From a drill, the circular saw, the jigsaw , the saw-saw, the kit even includes an 18 volt flashlight and vacuum cleaner. Daddy can just about build anything with his cordless tool collection.

Coupons

I am always amazed by how easy nowadays you can print free coupons from your computer. At those times when I sorted out the newspapers and magazines I subscribed too many and cut the coupons from it, it's kind of messy but now there were other means to collect coupons to use at the stores that I may be wanting to buy. Those value of coupons saves us money. I can even find Aeropostale coupons if I wanted to. So accessible to everybody that at these time that economy is weak collecting coupons and using them at the store is a smart idea to do. Amazing how much you can save. It is incredible how much discount you'll get from buying clothes at the store. I was planning to get winter clothes for my son. Boy he's growing up so quick and the clothes that we bought him last year don't fit any more. So we decided to get him new pairs especially those heavy snow suit. We like to play outdoors and have the fun snow sliding in our backyard. No matter how cold the temperature outdoors it doesn't matter as long as we have those nice thick coats wrapped around us.

Here is my new acquisition. I like it's color because I can always use it to match any color of my dress. Got it in a lawn sale. So funny when I look at it, the price when the owner bought it was still attached on it, the heels looks clean , no scratches or anything in short it's brand new and never worn. Hey it's a good deal with the price I payed and glad I found it.

Exceptional Eyewear Values, From Zenni

Posted by Malou at 11/02/2008 06:27:00 AM 1 comments
In today's world it pays you back so much to shop around but of course keeping quality in mind. There was an ad on the radio for a complete set of eyeglasses and eye exam for a hundred nineteen dollars. We went to the place filled out the paper work. The eye doctor said the basic exam that is included in the hundred nineteen dollar price would not cover every thing I needed done because of my astigmatism that require an extended exam along with glaucoma testing would be an additional thirty nine dollars so I agree. The exam was done and went out to pick out frames and the lady said in the hundred nineteen dollar special this were the only frame that came with that of course they were all ridiculously looking frames. The ones that I wanted were an additional eighty five dollars that did not include scratch resistant. That was another eighteen dollars. I was so frustrated by the time I was done ordering my glasses. I kind of stomp out of the place. My glasses arrived in the mail a few weeks later. The silver frames that I ordered came in gold. I went back in the store, the lady had put down one number wrong on the order form now to await another two weeks for my glasses. Then three months along I accidentally set my glasses on my car seat. I sat on them vowing never to go back to that store I found in my search ZenniOptical.com incredible the selection was great I received my glasses in record time and the glasses are beautiful. Thank you so much. No frustration whatsoever.

Besides my own opinion and talking to friends it's always great to know that the internet is always the best way to do research on something that you want to purchase. The husband and I started out the other day to buy what he thought was the best of the best in cameras. But I wasn't completely satisfied with all the options luckily I convinced him after showing him the review on http://www.sjamobile.org/ it had lots of comments and it was just what he was looking. He agreed and was glad that I did my research.

A little of this a little of that one way or the other but sometimes you just don't know which way you're heading when it comes to who get your name around the quickest or for the most percentage of viewers . When we started our business it seems like it took forever to get connected up for a large number of people to view our site affiliated that always revolving around our pages. And then after several years we changed to a different web hosting agent and overnight things really started amazingly turning around. It's unbelievable how powerful the new windows 2008 servers are. We needed unlimited space and they were able to easily handle it at http://webhostingrating.com/articles/. It's always best to search around for your options, lesson learned.

laptop inspiron mini 9

We were eyeing for some new laptops that is available on the market and waiting at the dell mini 9 to come out. It's only the size of two big envelopes or less than half the size of normal laptop. What is nice about dell online you can build your own custom laptop. We added more mg-storage along with complete blue tooth capability. It also has the local wireless capability. The laptop being so small will makes it very convenient to carry in a larger handbag.

I was so hungry yesterday and so I decided to cook something different for my lunch. Got the recipes out and started cooking. Here's
what I used:
1/4 kl. chicken
2 cups diluted coconut milk
2 green peppers
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup pure coconut milk
1 unripe papaya
1 piece ginger
3 cloves garlic
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Slice the papaya into thin stripes. Saute garlic, ginger, chicken and add the diluted coconut milk. When it boils add the papaya and cook over low heat until chicken is tender. Add peppers and thick coconut milk and cook 5 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with hot rice. Check this out. A big meal for a hungry woman..(lol!)

keylogger

We have a small business and you got to love it every time I walk in the office or almost every time you see the girls that are suppose to be working and as soon as they see it's me they start clicking down screen really really quick. I got to the point the other day where I walked up to one of the girls computer that was suppose to be doing research for the company I took her mouse and click the back button four times and a full page of messenger came up. I clicked the shut down button and pointed to the door. I think now that I found the keylogger I'll just be handing out pink slips instead of pointing to the door. I think the other girls get the message.

Jarred's first taste of snow

Posted by Malou at 10/29/2008 08:20:00 AM 8 comments
So funny when Daddy came home from work last night. He scoops a fresh clean snow then he called Jarred while saying he got a surprise for our boy. Our boy was running towards my husband and daddy showed him the snow from his hands. Jarred quickly touched it holding it with both hands. He put it in his mouth tasting the snow then he took another bite nibbling on it. My husband and I were laughing so hard because from the look of Jared's face he seems enjoying it. Well actually that was the first time that Jarred had the first taste of snow. Last year's winter he was only less than a year old and doesn't understand what snow means.
