I told myself to stop writing because it is very late already about 12:32 in the morning. Have to wake up early at 6:30 am and go to work. I see you later friends..sweetdreams.. yah al!!!!

MSG - Monosodium Glutamate on food

Some people are allergic to MSG some don't but my husband is allergic to it. When I cook food I never put MSG on it. We like to eat in the restaurants but when one day after we came home from the restaurant where we eat we realized that those enjoyment on food we had wasn't a pleasant experience for him after all. It took days and days for him to recover for that awful feeling. A burning feeling on a stomach, he can't even go to sleep because of the belly ache. Some restaurants used MSG to make the food tasty and appetizing but the effect of it on people is terrible. According to the book I read MSG is an excitotoxin. It is dangerous and deadly; it makes you fat, increase your appetite, and causes all types of physical and medical problems.

To eat or not to eat eggs

One day my husband and myself were debating about the issue on eggs. According to some news that eggs were considered bad on health because of the cholesterol on it if you eat it everyday. Now research suggests that they are not bad at all, and that they are actually healthy for the body. My great grand mother passed away at the age of 104 which they have a native chicken farm and everyday they cooked fresh eggs from the chickens nest. Well I believe that by eating native chickens egg are better than eating the regular white eggs that we bought from the market because of the kind food they ate. To conclude about our discussion we agreed that every thing that is too much is bad for us. Right? right..... (l0l!)

Sorry guys it took a while before I posted this pictures as promised. Got so many pictures here to show you how talented Filipinos are on many things to mention also in creativity. This picture was made of bamboo woven together serve as a paper plate holder.
This is a set of tray also made of bamboo. Notice how useful bamboo is. In case you didn't know you can also cook and eat the baby bamboo shoots. :-)

This third photo is a set of table mat we never used it but I like to keep it nice and clean. It also had a glass holder. It is made of abaca fiber all hand stripped before they turned it to rope and entwined it together to form a mat. Abaca fiber came from abaca plant. It is one of the main production of the Philippines.

This photo is really awesome a table napkin made of cloth but the main thing that I like the most is the shell wrapped around it with intricate design on top. I love the color too.

This last picture goes along with the table napkin shown above. A table mat made of shell. This requires a lot of work specially in making it smooth and shiny it looks really expensive. The table mat also matches the two bowls and glass holder. All these photos came from the Philippines. My husband and myself got married in the Philippines and got these wonderful wedding presents from friends and relatives.

clean up everybody cleanup

Just wanted to share what happened this morning. I was cleaning the house and I had a little helper. Jarred is always excited whenever I started cleaning because he get to help mommy. He like to pick up his toys before mommy vacuum the rug. While doing it we both sing " clean up clean up every body clean up" dancing at the same time. What a happy little boy... mommy is so proud.

our little garden

Just wanted to show you our little garden for this year, not much compared to last year. This year we have corn but you can't see it on the picture the side of the house is blocking the view. We also have green beans, snap beans, Okra, water melon, pumpkin, hot pepper, tomato and squash. Its only about 2 months since we planted them..Still growing :-)

This is the front view of the garden and by the way the shadow standing there was myself hehehe.
