our bunnies

Wuzzy and Beary had a big fight last night. Their cage were still outdoors in our deck. Never had a time when we see them fight since we got them from the zoo. Suddenly we heard a big thud and looked around were it came from. The bunnies are fighting, biting each others ear. We get the bunnies out of the cage. Daddy holding Beary on his arm and upon checking on Beary we realized that he was hurt. Poor bunny... Wuzzy was the bigger bunny and he seems okay. Later on we put Beary back on his cage and the two were playing again.

Rainy Day Fund

When we went to the Christmas Tree store with grandma Westcott we saw a lot of beautiful things to buy which are reasonably affordable. We went on every isle and found some decorations for Halloween. On one corner we saw a pile of ceramic bottles with beautiful designs on it and grandma westcott picked two, one for Lilly and one for Jarred and paid for them on the counter. Jarred's piggy bank is already full and this bottle bank will definitely be useful for him to use someday on a rainy day.

Once in a while it is good to travel and unwind to get away from the hectic work all year round. You can travel through the airplane, through your car or even through the boat. My brave little man

We finally get Jarred's medicine from the pharmacy and immediately after we came home I took the medicine out of the box and give jarred the necessary amount of medicine. My brave little man doesn't have any problem at all taking the medicine to his mouth and swallowed it. I hope he will get better soon.

Our movie arrived from the mail and we were excited to receive the movie "journey to the center of the earth" but i thought it was one of the one guy that we were expecting but it turned out it isn't. We watched it anyhow and when the movie is over we gave the conclusion that it's an eahhh movie. Good thing we didn't buy that CD.

Get together

My in laws were preparing to leave for Florida. It's time for them to back home to stay away from the cold New York. They were leaving on the 26th of September so we all decided to have dinner with them tonight for the last day. So sad when they have to leave again and see us next spring. It's hot outside, your car should be cold

How would you feel if your auto air conditioning is not working right? On my husband's case he went down to Florida to pick up the truck that he bought online but the problem he had when he started the AC was it didn't work. I couldn't believe how time change so fast. I was only 15 years old when I started helping my uncle at their restaurant. They own a pretty size restaurant and after graduation in high school my parents couldn't afford for my college anymore so I decided to wait and find a job somehow to earn money and help my parents to support for our daily consumption. I ended up in my uncle's restaurant slicing meat which is not an easy job for me. Being cautious in doing it is important for safety. It's tough to slice meat when your carving knives and steak knives are so dull, it will take most of your time doing it. Working in a restaurant is a fast paced work so I had to do my part in catching up or else there's not going to have any food cooked for the customers and I might lose my job then. Working there gives me a lot of advantage because I get to watch my uncle cook the foods and learn his secret recipes which I can use now in my own kitchen. I guess cooking talent is in our blood because my two uncles are now chef on different well known hotels. My uncle work as a chef in one of the hotels in the Marianas Island while my youngest uncle is a chef in their town in the Philippines. Now that I am a chef in my house I always make sure that I have the best knives to use and always making sure that our knives works perfectly nice and sharp. I never had a dull moment in cooking. It is always fun and I am happy to see that my husband and children enjoyed the meals I prepared for us and an appreciation that they give me to prepare the food makes me happy.

Garden on a pot

I don't want to give up my garden just yet. The green peppers are still have flowers on them but the cold weather is going to kill them if I don't do anything for it. So I decided to scoop the plant carefully and transfer it to the pot that way I could bring inside and put them by the window. I hope that I could still get fruits from it.

It's clean up time

Daddy and Maddy finally decided to get rid of Maddy's old toys that she have from when she was little. We were suppose to give the toys to Lily, our grand daughter but she had a lot of toys already. So we put all the toys in the box and drop it to salvation army to donate. So glad Maddy's room was cleaned up for more space to play.

get ready for winter

My first step to get ready for winter is to prepare our winter clothes. So I cleaned up our closet and dig for our winter clothes,jackets, coats, boots, gloves in preparation for winter. The clothes , jackets and coats were washed and cleaned before they were kept last year but since it's sitting there for a long period of time, somehow a little dust and smell linger on them. I finally took them all out and decided to put them in the wash tomorrow. Better do it earlier than waiting 'till the last minute.

Not ripe for picking

I don't know what happened to our tomatoe plant. Until now the tomatoe fruits were not ripe yet and sometimes frost came in the morning and I'm afraid that frost might kill the plant so I decided to pick them up and hope that maybe by doing it it will ripen somehow. And we also heard from other people that most of their tomatoes didn't ripen either.

Here comes the train

Jessica's house is close to the railroad. One time when we were at their house for a visit Jarred started out running in the front yard while pulling daddy outdoors to watch the coming train. He gets so excited seeing the train coming. He even raised his arms and said "toot" "toot" and wave to the train until it's gone which is so funny. The most precious moment to see. So on his birthday Daddy bought him a toy train but wasn't satisfied because the one's that he wanted to give him wasn't there. Finally, when they were shopping yesterday for Jarred's cousins birthday gift daddy spotted a remote controlled toy train and was so ecstatic to pay for it on the counter. That's for our little boy he said. Jarred couldn't get himself settled until daddy assembled it for him. Jarred's so happy. It's the late birthday gift for our little boy. Giving daddy a big hug for saying thank you daddy.

Cameron & Mike's birthday party

Cameron and Mike's birthday party came out nice, the kids were happy specially Cameron who had a wonderful cake with car theme. On the other hand Mike also had a special chocolate cake made by grandma Westcott. Even though it's 60 degrees yesterday every body was happy getting warm little bit sitting in front of the bon fire.

My husband had seen it about ten years ago but they wanted a lot of money for this new to market talking little bear like creature.
