You can't have much more fun as a little kid. Buying one of those blow up bouncy ball pit is so much fun, especially if you fill it up about a foot thick with the plastic balls. Burying yourself under the balls and then surprising big Sis that you're there. Burning so much energy, they have to take a break and have a Popsicle for more energy. Now that they're super charged they're back at it again bouncing, bouncing, and bouncing.

Because I always love taking hundreds of pictures, the storage on my computer is constantly in extreme need for upgrade all the time. It's always good to have additional Mac memory to boost the storage size of my PC's capability. Even downloading files seems to take up a lot of space and we all know that we can't spend so much time downloading, so extra memory speeds up the page of the download. And of course you know were not deleting our old pictures to make room for new.

Women should also know

There are skills that not only men should know. Women should also know simple skills that would help them in the kitchen. A knife is very useful human tool that has been used for many, many years and it is useful the best when it is sharp. I had a problem one day in the kitchen filleting the fish. The knife is so dull. We don't have a sharpener so I went out, grab a stone that has been laying down in our hallway.

With a steady hand, I hold the knife and hone it against the stone. The trick is to hold the blade at the correct angle. Lubricate the stone with water and the knife on both sides. Push the blade against the stone in a sweeping motion, like you're cutting a thin slice off the stone. Then flip the knife on the other side and repeat the motion sweeping it across. A simple know how is a great advantage. Thanks for Mama who taught us the ways.

Healthy cooking

Last Christmas, one of the gifts that Santa gave me is a steamer. I was so happy because it's the only thing that I don't have in the kitchen. So as soon as I get the chance I made my favorite food recipe using the steamer. It's been quite a while since I made steamed rice which is so popular way back in my country. The steamed rice has coconut candy inside which adds up to the flavor. It's the best and healthy cooking tool that I had in the kitchen as it only requires water to cook steamed rice recipe.

Gumamela plant -- it's medicinal use

Hibiscus, china rose, or shoe flower most commonly known in the Philippines as Gumamela. That is what we have in our house that Daddy brought home one day. It only looked like a little tree but it surely surprised us one morning when the flowers came out. Our gumamela plant's flower has three different colors from pink, yellow, and red.

It fed on plant food but the sunshine that comes in the morning helped to make it healthy as ever. Gumamela, aside from being cultivated as an ornamental plant, it also has medicinal uses. You can click here to learn of its medicinal uses.

I remember my childhood days when we were playing. We crushed the leaf and flower of Gumamela plant and mixed it in with water. The result comes out like an oil. We used it as a substitute for cooking as we play pretend.

Car insurance

We can't stress more the importance of insurance these days. It's one of those little things that you might not pay attention to until you need it and the proper coverage is just as important also. It happened five years ago. My husband thought he had good car insurance and then he had a guy come out of nowhere. The dark car with no headlights on, my husband turned in front of it. They hit and luckily my husband's insurance company fought for him to determine that the headlights were actually off during the impact. They found a way to determine whether lights are on or off even if they have been destroyed in the accident and my husband won.

what's in the catalogue

Lately, I have been receiving catalogues from the mail. Sometimes it just amazes me how these companies are very smart in finding ways to get you into buying products from them. I haven't personally ordered this particular catalog but it arrive one day from the mail. I guess they were smart enough to find you.

My husband had seen it first then showed me one particular item that he had chosen for Jessica. He asked me if I wanted to see it. It is a beautiful enameled fairy with flower zipper pull. Jessica is an avid collector of fairy figurines and other fairy decorations and I'm really sure she would really love it.

So as I was going through all the lists I've seen a pair of opal Celtic earrings and necklace with opal Celtic pendant. They call it fire and ice. It's white opals designed with Celtic knots gleaming with gold plate. In short it is very elegant. I said to my husband "WOW" thanks for showing me this catalog because I just found one item there that I like.(lol!) He replied back "I know it" and he shake his head. hahaha
