Jura coffee machine

It was just that thing that I had to do. After doing our kitchen renovation my new refrigerator and stove were stainless steel and black highlights. All my new counter tops were granite so beautiful with the cherry cabinets. After setting up the kitchen I decided I needed all new small appliances. Let's face it all the old ones were white. The jura coffee machine is my center of attention when my friends come over. So diversified compared to my old stuff.

Trying to keep your tummy in tone? There's lots of machine on the market remember a strong tummy equals a stronger back. If people wouldn't let their tummy go to flab there will be millions of dollars less spent on back operations each year. Let alone instructing them on how to use their legs to pick up things rather than their back. The best little product that keeps my tummy in tone I called it "my little blue machine". It is called the Abs-slide.

Drug rehab

After all these years a classmate of my husband was on a verge of colapse. My husband tried helping him quite a few times. It was such a long journey bringing his friend back from a dependency like none-other. Two months to get him off the stuff. He stayed off the longest this time about seven months. The stress this put on my husband was so bad. I finally told him that he should find treatment for his friend. Putting him into a drug rehab was the best thing for all of us.

Cooking oil comparison

Its all political. Years and years ago they said coconut oil was the best for you to use while cooking. But coconut oil is an import and the they don't want you to rely on an import. Being corn oil is manufactured on a huge volume in the US, they convinced us that its better for us. Sometime you should do a side by side comparison. Coconut oil seems to be the winner. The only thing with coconut oil that might bother you is that it starts smoking at a lower temperature than the others. So by turning the heat down it also saves you in your energy bills so what's not to win in this circumstance.

After many many years we had got sick of our water bed mattress we ended up switching to a regular mattress. After buying the mattress and spending a lot of money on a special size it just didn't seem that we could get comfortable on it. We had it for about a year and decided to go back to a wave less mattress. We also bought heated mattress pads that made it quite comfortable in our cold New York home.

Using safety sunglasses

Working as a carpenter my husband is always running into different job situations. The concern with safety is always priority number one. He's always upgrading his safety equipment. We were cleaning out the shed to lighten our load by having a yard sale. I couldn't believe when I opened the box that there was over fifteen pairs of safety glasses. Darker ones, lighter ones, colored ones. To my amazement I slipped on one of the yellow pair. I don't know what they put on this lenses but my husband tells me the yellow ones worked terrifically in low light situations. everything looks extremely brighter and crystal clear.

Appetite suppressant

My husband has sleep apnea his usual time for falling asleep is two in the morning and he is backed up by seven o'clock in the morning. After three or four days like these he might get an eight hour night of sleep. Staying up all the time burns calories but in the middle of the night you don't want to cook. He started taking an appetite suppressant because munching all night seems to pack the pounds on. An extra weight is a bad enemy.

Buyer beware!

The excitement of the seasons, the crazy madness sometimes you just can't shop in peace anymore. You always think that the parking lot is so huge until the Christmas buying spree hits. We're always looking out for a sale though. It's nice to try to go to a black friday sale but don't forget what happened at wal-mart last year one employee was trampled to death.

Journey to our revolving world

It is so amazing what life in times I've lived through at my young age. I can just about imagine what my parents had thought about our revolving world in their lifetime. They're in their late 60's. Myself I have witnessed the electronic era come in and expand like a blooming flower overnight. Just one of the things I'm grateful for is getting rid of all our beta, VHS tapes converting to DVD's. So much less storage for DVD's.
