HAVC filter

Posted by Malou at 2/05/2010 02:57:00 PM 0 comments
We get so sick of our forced air furnace. We keep the heat ducks cleaned out where we can reach them with the vacuum cleaner. Then my husband at least once a year has a duct cleaning company come in and suck all the pipes out. But still you can see the dust on the air as the sun comes through the window. We decided to go with a new high tech HAVC filter. It's amazing. It traps the particles with the static charge built into it. I don't know exactly how this works but I know it works good.

Alarm clock

Our universal alarm clock is just not doing it for us. Our old one broke. We didn't realize how used to the tone we were until we didn't have it. The new one doesn't go as loud. It has a really weird beep to it that doesn't wake us up. If you turn it to the sound program the loudest thing is a running water fall which that just puts us asleep more. So we're taking this one back in hopes of finding a louder one.

Vitamins

In today's world it is so important to do everything you can to prevent any kinds of ailments. You never know where they come from these days let alone you don't want to get sick and go to the doctors because that's where the sick people are. You ever notice you go to the doctors' and you end up sicker? Or with some kind of other bug in the days that follow the visit. Taking vitamins is just like preventive maintenance on a building. If you do the little things first hopefully you don't have to do the bigger things in the future.

Ultrasonic pest repeller

We're starting out a little bit different this year. Last year even with our fence all the way around it we still had raccoons and rabbits that were digging their way under our fence. We even put bells on our fence thinking that this will scare them away. I think they just like the music that the bells made. We bought an ultrasonic pest repeller. We're hoping this will take care keeping the critters away so we don't lose our garden this year.

Eye wrinkle remover

It begins from the day we were born your body immune system fighting against the very day grind of your environment. From the sun's rays to the dusty environment of my workplace I am always moisturizing to give my skin more elasticity. If I could just find a good eye wrinkle remover system I would be a happy camper and move on to bigger and better. Well not so much bigger but a better diet plan.

Chilled out

Being I'm relatively new to New York States, extreme cold it really chills you to the bone. I've been wanting to go out to Burlington Coat factory for so long to get a better winter jacket. I never realized that they make goose down jackets. Why would I realize it? I come from a place that people wear sweaters at eighty degrees. Anyhow, this new jacket keeps me extremely warm and I have to give thanks to the ducks that the feathers came from. :-)

Acne solution

I thought as I grew older I would grew out of my acne problem. Yes I've tried lots of different acne solution over the years. Most worked somewhat some don't work at all. But nothing seemed to do the whole job. This was always a daily task for me. The new product that I received about three months ago seems to be doing a great job as long as I dedicate myself to a daily cleansing of my face.

Using the new circular saw

My husband is so impressed with his new little circular saw. A lot of times during the day he's cutting wood but he is also cutting thin sheet metal. He says the new saw has rotating multiple blades that allow it to cut through multiple materials without changing the blade and being one blade travels forward one blade travels backwards there's no kickback in the saw itself like the old fashioned circular saws.

Nutrisystem reviews

The nutrisystem program no pun intended. The pricing far outweigh the weight loss at least in my husband's case. He worked really hard on his diet specially the goodness of the food that he consume. After three months on the program. He's only dropped six pounds. I'd like to contribute the weight loss to his exercise program alone and not so much the food. The nutrisystem reviews has also made up his mind to not continue the program after the end of this month.

Aroma therapy candles

We love the smell of our new aroma therapy candles. My husband bought them a couple weeks ago. The only problem is that they run out so fast. Of course I like keeping them lit at least twelveahours a day. I can't believe they cost that much. Back in the Philippines you could get the same candle for three times less the money and it lasted a lot longer. I swear the wax over here is made to burn quicker so you buy more and I think that's true.

Eye cream

I come from a generation where there's hopefully a fix for almost anything to do with aging. Unlike my parents' generation they prefer to grow old gracefully. Well I'm not waiting for that part. The first thing that I learned to use in a preventive body maintenance program is eye cream. Even though I'm putting it on two times a day after cleaning my whole face I am showing drastic holding ability when it comes to the fight with minor wrinkles.

Energy saving journey

Being we burn with wood and we have an apartment downstairs, the apartment downstairs heat up with gas so we wanted to save some additional money. So below our utility room is their utility room. We cut a whole through the floor ceiling and installed the fan to take some of the hot air of upstairs to the downstairs to save money on the gas bill.

Best diet pills for men

My husband and I have been married a little over five years. Before I met him he was a hundred and seventy five pounds from his own cooking. Now five years later he is a hundred ninety five pounds. About four and a half pounds of extra weight a year Mama has put on him. Now it's a search for the best diet pills for men. It's quite a search we have to rule out the good with the bad but in the first week he has lost three pounds.

Journey to the woods

Our cold winter seems to go on and on. Being we heat our house with wood we're using a lot more. We started to run out so my husband built a sled specially to pull behind the snowmobile to go down into our woods to bring up more wood for burning. He is amazed at how much dead wood is there so he doesn't need to cut any of the live ones. It's a lot of fun for my husband and son. Gives them exercise.

TVS

When it rains it pours. Usually something might go wrong with the car or maybe a small appliance in your kitchen. Oh yes there's always that occassion when you have to call a plumber. But last week in our house it seems like almost everything electronic was giving up. First the laptop died so I had the technician looking at how to fix that. The TV was on in the background. It went pop. So much for that bulb inside of it. Now we needed two tvs. The one in the other room had stopped working after a lighting storm three months ago.

Door handle sanitizer

Germs, germs, germs I'm not trying to be paranoid but they're all around us. We're doing our best washing hands, avoiding areas that are confined with lots of people. But it's impossible to stay away from the grocery store. Even though we use hand sanitizer on the cart it still seems like every other time someone get sick in our house. We eat right, take our vitamins make sure things are clean and still...get sick. One of the things my husband came up with that all commercial doors should have. It works just like the soap dispenser and bathrooms you pushed in the button and it sprays a mist of Lysol on to the door handle that you're about to touch. Someone should invent that.
