Back surgery

Posted by Malou at 12/27/2011 08:18:00 AM 2 comments
So many people that I know have had back surgery, the results of their operations are mixed. Some had no change in their pain some had more some had less pain. Before my husband went in for his surgery we studied up and learned how many different things the surgeon could do depending on your circumstance. My husband's doctor  wanted to do quite a bit with the surgery. We went and searched for a second opinion with the facts that we could discuss with the doctor. He ended up with a lot less evasive surgery and is so much more comfortable now. Do your research.

Gyro helicopter

Christmas day went off without a hitch. The excitement of my son  opening all his gifts from Santa Clause was of course priceless. One on the gifts  Santa brought  was a small helicopter. It's really tough to learn how to fly without crashing in to everything. They say fly it inside in a non obscured area. How do you suppose to do this in a house that's full of everything.

Philadelphia wedding photography

Posted by Malou at 12/17/2011 06:11:00 PM 0 comments
Once a year during hunting season my husband takes off with his friend who's originally from the hills of Pennsylvania. He has a small camp down there. The tiring thing about it is its above a twenty minute hike through the woods passing by a beautiful small water falls that has a pond at the bottom. His fiancee wants to get married at the water falls. Imagine the complications of getting all the people there with all the chairs. They're clearing enough area of trees to allow for ATV's to deliver everything. The gentleman from the philadelphia wedding photography is so excited about the scenery I don't think he will wait for the wedding date before travelling up into the hills to see this beautiful panoramic surroundings.

Leg massager

My legs hurt a lot sometimes from all the standing I do at work. Let's face it standing on your legs for eight hours a day is just too much. I found a product from BeautyKo that I hope will help. Its a portable leg massager that wraps  right around  your leg, ankle or thigh. Hopefully it will help also my blood circulation in that area.

Bobcats for sale

One of the most beautiful animals in the world is a bobcat. Even when you look at them you can see cunningness and intelligence in their eyes. This is only over shadowed by their beauty. But the real bobcats for sale show the strength and durability of time tested heavy machinery. Other equipment by other names may come and go but the word bobcat is some synonymous with anything that looks like it. How many times have I heard that's a bobcat when it was just a broke down copy of the best, the bobcat.

Dog outfit

Cloudy our  Shih Tzu Poodle Dog is soooo funny. I dressed her up with the Santa's dog helper outfit, poor Cloudy she's not really used to wearing dog clothes. She seems so very confused with what's going on. She's not moving for about a minute and just staring at me. If she can talk she will say "what did you just do to me?" hahaha. Took some pictures in front of our Christmas tree.

Guitar lessons online

Posted by Malou at 11/24/2011 06:44:00 PM 1 comments
I've been putting it off for years about five years ago my husband bought me this nice Gibson guitar. Try as I might in my spare time which is not much I tried to teach myself with the books I bought at the store. I'm slowly learning but at this rate I'll have gray hair before I'm good at one song. I guess its about time to look into guitar lessons online. My friend in California said it only took her about three months to play numerous songs.

Novelty invention

We just watched the movie on cable that kept on leading you on. It was about a young inventor in America that travelled to China to find a manufacturer for his invention. He ran into more deceitful people that took advantage of him it made you get a pit in your stomach  as you watch. I thought maybe he had some great invention so I had to watch to the very end. Eventually he ended up at the manufacturer himself showing his novelty invention which turned out to be a towel that had the words face on one end and ass on the other end. I guess there is a point here. You don't want to wipe your face with the ass end. haha

Nutritional counseling austin

Posted by Malou at 11/23/2011 07:00:00 PM 0 comments
It seems like my sister in law has had problems with weight gain all of her life. Originally they thought it was just depression because of a bad experience she had when she was younger with her ex-husband. The first thing to deal with years ago was therapy for her. The weight gain was secondary. After contacting nutritional counseling austin the hope was high for getting my sister in law back on track. So far she has lost fifteen pounds in three months. It's still a long journey but it looks to be one that she will conquer.

The years go by

Well its Thanksgiving again it seems like we were just here the years go by so quick. Looking at the photo album I can't believe how much our son has grown in two years. He started school this year and he's doing super great. Each day he arrives home and has to show mommy and daddy the gold stars that he gets for a job well done in school. So sweet.

Party enhancers

Posted by Malou at 11/11/2011 08:54:00 PM 0 comments
Out of the blue  a favorite friend and classmate called me after ten years. She was coming to town and she was trying to get a bunch of us old girlfriends together for a party. She told me the names of the girls that had already confirmed so I decided to say yes. After arriving at the party I couldn't help to notice the different Party enhancers the different ones are quite intriguing.

After enjoying the enchantment of the K6 herbal incense we all had a toast to old friends and re found friends, I asked my friend that had invited me  where all the different Spiritual powders could be purchased she told me Herbal City. We are now planning a party for every quarter of the year. The next party will be at my house and believe me I will have a lot of party enhancers. Best party I've been to.

Looking for that special dress

It was so nice tonight, my husband took me out to dinner and then he surprised me by taking me to the mall to pick out a dress for the December Christmas party. I had looked online for quite sometime I couldn't find anything that I really liked. We picked out a few dresses and my husband brought me more until we found that special dress but I was more special because my husband helped.

Walmart coupons

Posted by Malou at 11/06/2011 03:10:00 PM 0 comments
Have you seen the latest on cable reality TV?  The people they show  cutting coupons, they go into the store purchased five or six hundred dollars worth of things and after they used their coupons they only spend twenty or thirty dollars. That's great but do they actually get anything they really needed? And what are you going to do with the lifetime supply of most of the stuff . I wonder if they sell it cheap to the neighbors. Anyhow, the only thing I've had used for are my walmart coupons but the ones that I used are for products that I used everyday. What's the sense of getting a dollar off coupon when the product that you're buying is three dollars more expensive that the brand that you currently using. You lose two dollars.

Solar powered electric fence

Posted by Malou at 11/06/2011 03:03:00 PM 0 comments
I happen to walk out back yesterday morning and it looked like a rabbit convention. They were all sitting in the garden eating all the leftover vegetables that had been left behind after the frost hit. They actually dug a hole under the fence that we had all the way around. Next year we're installing a solar powered electric fence at two different levels all the way around. Hopefully this will help save some of our fresh vegetables.

Fencing pool

Posted by Malou at 11/06/2011 02:30:00 PM 0 comments
The contractor came in broke ground digging down sixteen inches was more than his little tool could handle I guess. So we had to go rent a bigger one to take care of the dig. After that things seemed to go pretty fast  until they got to the decking and two pieces were missing. So we had to wait five days for the completion of the deck.  The only thing left to do is fencing pool. I hope when it comes in that they're not missing any pieces.

Spell corrector

Writing all the time sometimes feels like a job. I'm so thankful for spell check it helps so much but when you're on a messenger you don't have time or have spell check there I wish they did. So just for those times when you need it most I bought a Websters hand held spelling corrector. Now I can type in a word and it gives me all possible closest words to it. So I wont feel embarrassed.

Computer Operator Jobs

Posted by Malou at 11/06/2011 02:03:00 PM 0 comments
My husband has had a lifelong career as a carpenter but the years are catching up with him  not to mention the boredom doing the same thing for the last thirty years. He says that he like to go back to school on a short term basis. One of the classes that he is looking into is web page design. If he accomplishes this good he could apply for one of those Computer Operator Jobs that are out there if not he maybe able to go into business for himself. Let's hope.

The same food

Don't you get so sick of cooking the same stuff over and over again? I think its time for a change but most of the dishes I'd like to make have lots of different vegetables. I can't just get at the local store I have to make a trip to the city. Soon maybe I can get some ideas on-line. A friend of mine in California always ask her son to pick out of a fancy cook book the night before and then she cooks it for the next day. She is always running to the store for different products. When I asked if he eats it she says most of the time. She is spending over 300 dollars a week just for making supper way to much.

Italy holidays

Posted by Malou at 10/25/2011 08:15:00 PM 0 comments
I hope I'm not jumping the gun. For next year I am doing all the planning for our vacation. Last year was nice but my husband picked out but it was just nice that's just what you get when you leave the whole thing up to your husband. And next year I would like to spend three weeks on vacation because just two isn't enough. Next year I would like to go to Italy for the Italy holidays. They have so many different things to offer  I had to write the different plans you could take down and compare them all for what hopes to be our best trip.

At this moment the touring holiday is my favorite pick. Its nice to be able to sit back and relax on your days journey seeing a lot of the sites you've always wanted to see and hoping for different surprises each day. It's so nice to have an expert tour manager that takes care of all the details  of getting around. My husband will be amazed  at all the old architecture. For myself I can't wait to see St. Mark Square and Doge's palace I can't wait to take the gondola rides through those famous canals. It might cost a little extra but I know I will persuade my husband  to take the ride with me.

Generators

Posted by Malou at 10/25/2011 07:47:00 PM 0 comments
I've always been interested in developing web sites. I have three but they're not too interesting to me anymore. The one name I came up with is Hyrogengasgenerators.com and wouldn't you know it somebody already owned it. After a few searches I found it was parked at godaddy.com I contacted the owner that put it up for auction on ebay. I liked this because I am good at bidding there. Anyhow to my surprise I won it. I had it transferred to my godaddy.com account. Thinking about ideas of how to load the page with green products.

Compost tumbler

Posted by Malou at 10/25/2011 07:38:00 PM 0 comments
I have a lot of fun in my small garden. It's actually two very small gardens. One on each side of our entrance way. I've found out that the more you put in time wise the more you get out of the garden. This year I have some extra time so I dedicated some of it to taking better care on my roses. They were the talk of the neighborhood. Now that winter is almost here one of the things that I'm looking for is a compost tumbler. The extra garden debris mixed up with our normal compost will make an ideal situation in our pit.

New domain

My husband was so excited last night. He was bidding on eBay for the right to a domain name. The site he wanted became available last week and it went up for auction on eBay. Originally it was parked at godaddy.com. The owner wasn't doing anything with it . To my husband's surprise he bid and won it only for thirty one dollars and this includes godaddy.com hosting it to next October. Now its time for him to figure out how he wants to build it. Filling it with all green products so cool.

Christmas cake delivery

Posted by Malou at 10/13/2011 10:53:00 AM 0 comments
It's always so much fun at Christmas time. Between the decorations on the outside of the house then going to pick out a beautiful Christmas tree. Last year we replaced some of our lights with LED lights. What a difference. A few days before Christmas I was making our Christmas cookies there was a knock at the door, a man was standing there and he said I have a christmas cake delivery for you. It took me a minute to believe it. But when he said it was from my mother in law in Florida I opened up the door and welcomed our cake.

Alternative medicine

My husband went to the doctors a few months ago to have a complete physical check-up to find out that the doctors just want to scare you and to push their new drugs on you that cause you more damage than good. His blood pressure was elevated. There's a lot of different things that can do this and also there are a lot of things you can do yourself to take care of this. Instead of taking drugs that could kill you. He elected to change his diet and eliminate some of the stress that he has at the job.

Custom t-shirt

Posted by Malou at 9/30/2011 01:07:00 PM 0 comments
After the lengthy process of starting our business everything was going fine. It was getting a little slow and at least we were comfortable at where we were. Lately though we thought about expanding and advertising our product more locally by going to small trade like shows. County fares etc. Giving away our custom t-shirt for signing up yourself and a friend to our mailing list was the biggest hit. People love the graphics on the shirts so much we had offers to buy at least thirty percent more of our products. What a hit.

Profit on ebay

Posted by Malou at 9/30/2011 12:51:00 PM 0 comments
It's getting closer to Christmas. All year long my husband collects Geo trax trains. Then by the end of October he puts them on eBay. At this time of year people go crazy with the prices buying at the last moment. Brings the prices way up. He loves it when people get into a bid war over his things. Last year at just Christmas time he made 500 dollars over what he paid in. May of the same year. Its like snowmobiles. He bought in April, he invested two thousand dollars and sold them in November and made an extra thousand dollars. What a help when it comes to paying our heat bill for the winter.

Earring backs

Posted by Malou at 9/30/2011 12:45:00 PM 0 comments
Some of the things my husband is giving me for my birthday and Christmas I consider quite hysterical. He always thinks they're funny. Myself I don't really know about that. But I still give him a big hug and a kiss for them. One of the things he knows that he can hardly never go wrong on is jewelry. As long as it isn't big and ugly I probably like it. Last year he surprised me with a selection of earring backs. I guess he remembers two Christmas'  ago when I was so frustrated after losing one we were an hour late for the Christmas party.

China ATV

Posted by Malou at 9/30/2011 12:21:00 PM 0 comments
It's been about three months since we purchased our atvs. As soon as they arrived the first day there was a problem. One of the bearings in the front tire wasn't made right from the factory. My husband called them, they sent a hub with bearings right away. That was great. As my husband went to install the new part he noticed that the weld was cracked on the frame and the bushings on that side where shot from the vibration of that bad bearing. He called the place a technician called back at 11;30 at night waking the whole house up explaining what the problem was. They said the parts are shipped from factory the only problem is the factory is in China it may take up to 7 weeks to get here. In the mean time we cant ride it. Depressing!

Fantastic flooring

Posted by Malou at 9/22/2011 02:59:00 PM 0 comments
My husband can remember years ago helping to set up his family's business at the State Fair. They would start a month early on design followed up by two or three weeks of completely building from scratch. The whole booth and displays were all handmade. It was a long drawn out process.

In today's world it's so much easier because of companies that are making so many different designs in furnishings starting with trade show flooring. It's so nice just to interlock all the square pieces as you lay them down. What an improvement and so fast. Very impressive.

We travelled to Syracuse New York this year to watch the world bowling championship and all the flooring was trade show carpet. For me it was easy to notice because I had worked with it before and as with the regular flooring the carpet looked great. The logo mats were so bright and brilliant with their insignia you probably should have had sunglasses if you were standing next to them for any length of time. The logo canopy were used in a different way inside to cover some of the concession booths.

Central Square apple festival

This weekend is the Apple picking carnival in our village. We always like going there to taste and pick up a couple of gallons of the freshest apple cider around. Of course, they have plenty of rides for the smaller children that's why my son loves it so much when we go there. They also have some terrific barbecue chicken with salt potatoes which is my favorite. It's a yummy time.

Criss-cross to Calgary

Posted by Malou at 9/19/2011 09:52:00 AM 0 comments
Meeting new neighbors you just never know what kind of people they are. The ones that moved in a few years back came from Calgary. When I first talked to them I told them it was kind of funny because I just had a girlfriend moved there from the neighborhood to be with her fiance'. When looking for properties she went to www.rentcalgary.com, she was telling me how beautiful it is there.

After my girlfriend had moved there, I had new neighbors moved in to a three bedroom raised ranch house next door. I was almost instantly friends with the mom. The husband seemed really nice but he didn't talk much I guess he just kept to himself. After talking to his wife I found out that he is a cardiologist specialist. They had been in five different locations in the United States in the last two years including Calgary. To our amazement both girls had known each other in Calgary and not to know that they had just reversed neighborhoods in their travels over three thousand miles away.

Fun at home with the ATV's

Posted by Malou at 9/19/2011 09:25:00 AM 0 comments
We had a fun weekend just staying at home. My husband got  the old ATV running so that meant that we had three to drive around. It looked like we were having a rally race around our property. Our five year old and thirteen year old headed up the pack along with my nephew pulling up the rear. It started at 10 o'clock in the morning and didn't end until they started running out of gas at 4:30 pm. What a long day and the dirt was flying everywhere.. They have so much fun on the ATV's. But now it's almost snowmobile time and I can't wait.

Metal step stools

When my Grandmother passed away all of us were given something of hers after going through her house to have an estate auction just before we started cleaning. I sat down and remembered Gramma using her different metal step stools. It was a great memory. I could hear her voice and see her there. I walked over to the stools and pick them up tooked them to my car to bring to my house. I still use them to this day almost every time thinking of Gramma.

Chinese ATV four wheelers

Posted by Malou at 9/15/2011 11:04:00 AM 0 comments
In a way we saved a lot of money. The price of  small ATV's if they are named brand is so ridiculous. I guess it's nice if you have all that extra money to spend on one of those. My husband elected to buy two of those Chinese four wheelers. They're not bad for the money but he has found out that if he needs a part some of the parts have to come directly from China and could take as much as six weeks to get here. In the meantime we can't ride one of the four wheelers. I guess this goes back to the cliche' wait a little save a lot.

Medical equipment

Posted by Malou at 9/15/2011 10:39:00 AM 0 comments
It is always so sad to watch the elders in your family growing old to a point where they can't take care of themselves. My father in law in his mid-seventies opted to buy some different types of medical equipment to better help himself   because at this stage he didn't really want help from others. The only great thing that he was to the very end Dad still had his mind and his memories. At the end he was in his age but early eighties. An operation might have saved him for a few more years but the doctors couldn't guarantee that it also might have killed him so he didn't have the operation but at least we had them for a couple more years.

Little big fish

Instead of getting a bigger aquarium because or little goldfish got too big we decided to get a second aquarium and split the fish up.  Originally our goldfish are about an inch and a half long and maybe weighed an ounce now we have four mammoth gold fish. The biggest one being ten and a half inches. Anyone for fish on Friday? haha

Stainless steel drums

Posted by Malou at 9/14/2011 09:27:00 AM 0 comments
My husband got on a kick a few years back to do the best job at trying to save money and energy in our household. On the side of our house outback he build a brick room putting our old wood stove inside of it. Above the wood stove he used stainless steel drums that were link into our furnace hot air ducts. As the wood stove heated up it heated the drums up so when the furnace kicked on it would draw the hot air out of the drums and into the house which saved us at least forty percent on our heat bill. This is just one of many things that my husband has done.

Iron rail room divider candle holder

Once in a while you find a deal on the side of the road. The people apparently had to move out in a hurry and literally put about everything they own on the side of the road for sale. We bought like ten different things all for ten dollars and under each. I love candles and one thing they had was a raw iron rail  room divider that has over forty little candles on it.  So beautiful. I'm glad we were able to buy it.

Best fat burners for men

Posted by Malou at 8/30/2011 08:34:00 PM 0 comments
There's so much truth in putting on weight doesn't take long taking it off seems like forever. My husband took some time off last winter into the spring. In the meantime he ended up gaining approximately fifteen pounds which before the fifteen pounds he considered himself ten pounds overweight. He had a lot of fun with our son all through this time while I worked. He searched for the best fat burners for men for about three weeks before he made his purchase.

Harbour Freight little trailers

Posted by Malou at 8/30/2011 08:25:00 PM 0 comments
We found out the other day that there's a lot cheaper way than renting a trailer to go pick up an ATV out of town. We found the local Harbour Freight company close to the ATV, went there bought a cheap trailer for a hundred and eighty dollars assembled it in a half hour. Went to pick up the ATV and brought it home. We now have a new small trailer and it saved us eighty dollars compared to renting one at U-Haul.

Aldelo System

My husband had a business for quite a few years, he turned around and sold it making a very good profit. After that he built two businesses from the ground up which are doing quite well. So when my girlfriend started talking to me about building her business  I was quite knowledgeable on the information that she was looking for. One of the main systems that takes a lot of guess work out of a fast paced business environment is the Aldelo System. After spending a few hours with it she felt like a pro with lots of added confidence.

Buying a generator

We keep on saying we are going to buy a generator before it is too late. Well, the other day it was too late. The power went off and stayed off almost overnight. I thought for sure it would be back on like it has in the past in an hour or so but that didn't happen. The thing that's been holding us off from buying a generator is we want to buy a whole house generator and the price on those are very expensive.

Golf gps finder

We took delivery of two brand new ATV's a moth ago. So last weekend we decided to take them on our trailer and head up North to the deep woods trails. After am hour or two we had made so many turns I had to take out my GPS to locate the main trail to take us out of there. We were having fun but it was time to be home.  I thought of this and told my friends as I was using the golf gps finder on the course the other day. Those are so helpful specially the wristwatch type.

Side sleeper pro

I been having a tough time seeping the lately so the other day we went out shopping I decided to buy a new pillow. It is called the side sleeper pro. It's kind of new shape and it supports my neck and spine so I sleep so much better and I feel so much better, refreshed when I wake up. I don't know how exactly that works but its a life saver to me.

Mens lingerie

My husband is always buying me lingerie. I love how sexy some of things are but some of the things are not so practical but it is still a lot of fun. The fun part of the year is Halloween buying a different costume every year is exciting. Last year my husband bought me a Pocahontas that fit me just perfect. Needless to say he loved it on me as much as I did. Now its my turn to secretly but him some mens lingerie. I can't wait to see him in the different undies I bought him.

It comes with five attachments also so easy to use.  It is at heartlandamerica.com for forty nine ninety five.

ATV Tires

Posted by Malou at 8/14/2011 07:45:00 PM 0 comments
Six years ago my husband bought an ATV for his daughter. After replacing two sets of ATV Tires on it the ATV was slowly wearing out. The front breaks have broke, the back breaks aren't good.  So anyhow he decided to buy her a new one. It took him months of shopping around but he finally found her one. The only problem with the new one is that it didn't have the proper tires for her riding. So here we go again buying another set of tires but she is really so happy.

My husband surprised us this morning by asking us to get ready early so we can all go out to eat breakfast. After breakfast he wouldn't tell us where we are going on our small trip. We ended up going to Rome New York to the Fort Ricky Game Farm. It is a small petting zoo in Central New York. We all had fun specially our son because a lot of the animals you could pet specially loved the Pygmy goats that you could hold on your lap and they love their heads rubbed.

RV repair

Just like car repair rv repair can be very costly unless you do the work yourself but of course you have to be knowledgeable of what to do and do it right. My neighbor bought an RV online that was supposed to be a hundred percent road worthy. After he started his drive from the Carolina's back to New York he noticed a vibration coming from underneath. As he slowed down the vibration was a lot less. After he returned home and had it checked out the RV had a bent drive shaft which cost over eight hundred dollars to have everything fixed.

Spending time with my family

This is the first year  that I've pretty much worked all through the summer without stopping to enjoy too much of it. The other morning  getting up  after I went  outdoors I realized that I needed a jacket  because it was very cool indicating fall was coming. That's depressing. There's still some summer left so I decided to stop working  so hard and spend the rest of the time with my family doing things outdoors before we become settled in for the winter.

POS system

Posted by Malou at 8/04/2011 09:13:00 PM 0 comments
Building a business from scratch for the first time can be very monotonous. Setting up our phone system seem to take the longest. The company that we started with was horrible. Also the packaging company messed up the location of the bar code on the box. The only thing that seemed to be simple to set up was our POS systems. We had  a couple questions at first but after we used them for a few days it was very easy to figure out.

World's dumbest

It's so much fun watching Tru TV channel. My favorite one is world's dumbest drivers. The only problem with this is if I wake up in the middle of the night and turn the TV  on if the show is on I have to watch it to the end. Its just too funny to shut it off but really makes for the next day tired at work.

Legal paternity testing

Posted by Malou at 7/16/2011 09:28:00 PM 1 comments
So many things in this world that you can sit around and debate forever. The latest in the United States is same sex marriages which in short brings up a lot of legal questions. On the other hand legal paternity testing is something that I thought should always be done in this modern world. A friend of my husband paid child support  for many many years just to find out that he wasn't the real father. But it didn't matter to him because he had raised the little girl for quite a few years and loved her as his own.

Health care law fight

I can't believe the latest battles over health care continue in the courts in United States. This has been going on what seems to be forever. First they brought up the multi state lawsuit challenging the constitution of the law, that was in the US circuit court of appeals and now it is headed to the supreme court. Can't our government just get together and move on.

Iphone 4 cases

Doesn't it just figure that another year has gone by and I still doesn't upgraded my phone. I've been hinting and hinting around to my husband for six months now it's time for me to take control. I just want the new iphone 4g. I've already shopped around and found the latest in iphone 4 cases, now I just need the phone so I can stick it in the case. I don't think my husband's ready but I am.

Portable TV

Posted by Malou at 7/13/2011 09:13:00 PM 0 comments
My husband has always wanted a small portable TV that can go anywhere with us. We found one at the heartland America it only has a four inch TV screen it picks up digital broadcast over the air  just perfect for him or the kids late at night  when we're camping. Something to wind down with at the end of the day or just relaxing in the wilderness.

Diet pill that works

Posted by Malou at 7/13/2011 09:03:00 PM 0 comments
My neighbor is having so many problems when it comes to dieting.  She has spent thousands of dollars over the years on diet pills and diet plans. None of them seems to work but on the other hand she never does anything to exercise. She's quite a fun person so I expressed to her that it would be fun to pick up a dance aerobic video so we could do it together. Now if we could just find a diet pill that works it will help out with her big problem.

Build destroy

Our son has so much fun building with his imaginarium wooden block set and then destroying then starting all over again. I think he got this idea from cartoon network where they have the show build and destroy on there where usually two separate groups of young kids get to destroy then build then destroy the opponents vehicle at the end if they're the winners.

Sell Gold

Posted by Malou at 7/07/2011 07:06:00 PM 0 comments
My husband was telling me how exciting it was as a young boy and an avid coin collector. His parents had a large paper route so there was never a shortage of change to pick through. At the years that he was doing this there was  still a lot of silver coins in circulation. Also over the years he had bought some gold bouillon. It amazes me how shiny and how heavy it is. We've come to a point  in our life where we are going to Sell Gold. He says he wants to keep his coin collections together for now.

Boat tires

Posted by Malou at 7/07/2011 06:58:00 PM 0 comments
It all started one morning, my husband decided to put the boat in the water for a weekend adventure. He reminded me of the bad tires on the trailer and said hopefully they will make it one more trip before we replace them. We packed everything up and headed to launch the boat. It was only about 15 miles we had to go. At about ten miles one tire blew out so we ended unhooking the boat. Next taking the rim off going to a tire store that didn't have the size we needed. Very frustrated, we went to central tractor where they had the rim and tire as one it also was much cheaper. We bought two  then went back to install them needless to say we didn't end up launching the boat till two o'clock that after noon. All in all we still had fun.

Ecigarette

Posted by Malou at 7/01/2011 08:15:00 PM 0 comments
Smoking can be such a nasty habit or addiction as most people call it. Unfortunately my husband smokes but not in the house. Years ago he tried the old style electric cigarette and all that it did was give him too much nicotine and a bad head ache. I'm trying to get him to buy one of the new ecigarette. One of my co-workers at work says that its the best thing that's ever happened for her not to mention the impact on her family.

House chores

Nothing like coming home and everything is just about done in the house when it comes to cleaning. My husband has the summer off from his work along with taking care of our 4 year old . I think he's finally got the hang of it .In September our 4 year old goes to school so somebody has got to get him on the bus and get him off in the afternoon. It's going to be tough to figure that schedule out lets hope I can keep my job. Who knows?

Blackberry covers

Posted by Malou at 6/21/2011 08:37:00 PM 2 comments
I finally get used to my cellphone and how to use it and i guess I waited too long because mine is pretty much obsolete when it comes to all these modern day smart phones. The only problem with buying a new phone is there's so many different options and payment plans  or usage, I started to do my own  side by side comparisons by printing out all the info I could find on each one that i like. That reminds me I have to find some new blackberry covers someday soon.

Candles

Posted by Malou at 6/21/2011 08:28:00 PM 0 comments
Candles, candles , candles I can't get enough of them. I started counting the other day  and between all the rooms there are thirty three candles. The latest aroma that I love is a combination of cherry vanilla. It really livens up the room. Sometimes though my husband comes home from work and opens all the windows up  I tell him he is just wasting the flavor of the house.

Rehabilitation center

Hopefully you'll never need to. Two of my husband's friends over the years have had problems with alcohol. It was so tough with them to stop drinking actually both of the friends had split with their wives and kids over their drinking problems. Thank goodness they are now saying for friends and family that helped them into the rehabilitation center. It might have took sometime to clear the alcohol out of their system but it was well worth it. Both families are now back together and both guys have steady jobs once again.

All in one radio

Talk about your all in one. We've always wanted something handy to have fun with at the beach or on the boat or the backyard when things get boring. We found an am-fm/short wave radio cassette recorder, karaoke system with disco light  and usb, mp3 player all in one. That's a lot of stuff to put into a little radio. It also has a twelve volt auxiliary jack for charging  other small items. What a deal all for forty five dollars at heartland America.

Birthday Gift Baskets

Posted by Malou at 5/28/2011 10:29:00 PM 0 comments
We had a going away party at work and I was the talk of the party or actually the Birthday Gift Baskets that I had delivered were. They were done up so beautifully everybody noticed them. Now I know what I'm going to do for my mother in law's birthday and my aunt in Florida that always says don't buy her anything. This is making it to easy for me.

So happy that a lot of the fresh vegetable have made their way to the regional market. This morning we're headed there. The half an hour drive is well worth it to pick up the yummy veggies. Also they have plants to add to our garden. Looking forward to buying some cherry tomatoes.

Hair loss treatment

My husband's age is starting to show in some places. A few extra pains here and there but all and all he is in good shape. His hair in the front is starting to reseed some and I think he is starting to panic. So I went online to look for the best hair loss treatment. It took a lot of reading to hopefully figure out what one will work the best for him. I think he is going to be so surprised when I give it to him.

Sand

Posted by Malou at 5/28/2011 09:56:00 PM 0 comments
Time to go outside with our kids They're happy because it rained last night that means that there's going to be puddles of water to play in. It also means that its more funner my son says for his Tonka trucks. They make roads in the sand. The sand castles they made three days ago are now all washed away. Time to start building new ones.

Custom presentation folders

Posted by Malou at 5/28/2011 08:41:00 PM 0 comments
Starting a business can always be hectic. Its a good thing my husband has had experience with it . After a few years we decided to try to bring in some people to expand our business. One of the things I was very proud of was the design on the custom presentation folders. These folders made the presentation look like a million dollar layout. After some negotiations both of the companies are now one and growing strong.

Pizza

In our busy life running here, going there all the time, dinner sometimes can end up a little late at night. Luckily on our way home we can rely on the great pizza  at Little Caesars. The garlic bread and Italian bread there is made fresh while you wait and I just can't resist that. The kids are happy with their bellies full.

Television stands

Posted by Malou at 5/28/2011 08:27:00 PM 0 comments
We moved into an apartment awhile back that had cathedral ceilings. The problem was that the walls were low. You couldn't hang any pictures to say so we ended up buying shelves to set things on it turned out nice after awhile. Looking for the right television stands for each room took awhile for the living room. We ended up hanging our flat screen with brackets tide into the ceiling. It looks good just took sometime to figure out how to do it.

Rain

It's so beautiful that at least for our area the rain is making everything outdoors so green. Usually this early in the season there's not much. Our garden is growing so fast. The grass has to be mowed twice already. I hope the summer ahead doesn't turn so dry everything dies out. Oh well at least for now we can enjoy it.

Prefabricated buildings

Posted by Malou at 5/23/2011 08:29:00 PM 0 comments
My husband is always helping his parents out with repairs on the old buildings at their farm. For years his mother wanted to replace two of the buildings with prefabricated buildings. This would be the easiest way and the most affordable. Not to say that they waited for his Dad to pass on but the first thing that was after that was to tear down and replace the two buildings. It looks so much better also freeing up time for my husband to work on our place.

Summer is almost here

Posted by Malou at 5/23/2011 08:15:00 PM 0 comments
Summer is here and we can't decide this year to put the boat in the water at the marina or just launch it once and awhile. With the price of gas you don't go very far with a boat that if you're lucky it gets 5 mile to a gallon. Three years ago we went on a small trip with it and the gas was 140 dollars plus our fun for the weekend. It cost us almost 400 dollars. In this economy we're going to have to cut back so I think i'll be staying home more.

Los Angeles detox rehab

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. My husband's friend that went there for a three year construction job never returns back to New York after picking up another job off the Internet. He eventually moved to California. My husband started wondering about him one day. He called his cellphone. The girlfriend answered saying that he ended up in los angeles detox rehab. She said it all started about four months after he was in Las Vegas with her. He'd be up in a few weeks.

Rug cleaning

I came home from work the other day, being my husband gets out of work earlier than I do I was so surprised when he had steam cleaned our couch, our living room rug and the stairway rug. I don't know where he got the energy because all of us have had colds. The only problem it added so much humidity to the house that it makes it harder to breath with our colds. I guess you can't win. But it looks nice.

GPS map

Our trip to Old Forge  was so much fun last year we actually did it twice. Once with the kids and then a second time without the kids. We won't tell you which trip was more fun. I hadn't had a vacation with my husband in two years. The water rides were faster than I remember. Must be I'm getting a little older. This year we will be taking a trip up to Quebec Canada. My husband says he needs a new gps map. It's not fun getting lost when you are trying to have fun on vacation.

I was  shopping around for some sunglasses the other day and I've never seen anything like these . They're called Vedalo HD sunglasses. So amazing to look through these glasses.  I had to have a pair. I probably paid a little more than I should of but what's great about them is they have a sixty day no questions asked  return.

Personal gifts for mom

Posted by Malou at 5/05/2011 09:14:00 PM 3 comments
So many moms to think of. His mom my mom and of course myself mom. Oh also my stepdaughter's mom that I don't think of.  Where to start? A personal gifts for mom, if you want to find the right one it takes sometime and some research  to come up with the unique gift that gives a lasting impression just by looking at the gift and the memory of that moment. The hardest person to buy for is my mother in law of eighty years of age. She has everything.

Tripping hazard

Posted by Malou at 5/05/2011 09:07:00 PM 0 comments
I was so excited after buying my zebra striped throw rug for the living room. Just a five by seven foot. It looks so beautiful. After having it there for a couple of days my husband complained that he tripped twice by it. At first he couldn't figure it out it wasn't the edge that he tripped on.  We have a glass surface coffee table sitting on top of it. When you turned on the chandelier light about it it cast an awkward shadow through the glass coffee table that if you're not watching carefully it actually makes you tripped. It is actually a depth illusion.

Blackhead remover

Growing up in a very hot and high humidity country was a big challenge for me as a youth. It's very very tough as a teenager in a cooler climate to take care of pimples let alone black heads. I finally moved  from there about seven years ago to a cooler climate. Things were clearing up  quite nicely until I got a job and the environment there  is very dusty all day. Finding the right blackhead remover is top on my list at the moment. So I won't  have a lot of problems after leaving this job.

Cartoon network needs better control

I can't believe cartoon network thinks that the cartoon called "the regular show"  is appropriate to have on with no rating as in for late teens or adults. They fill in the blanks replacing bad words with fill in words. The cartoon character says what the ( H ) for the word hell and how are we gonna take care of this  (S) for shit. Come on now! There's no rating at the bottom right side on the TV screen basically saying this is fine for all ages.

Shoulder stabilizer

Posted by Malou at 4/26/2011 08:12:00 PM 0 comments
My husband years ago was turning left at a bad intersection at night. When a dark gray car came out of nowhere with no headlights on  my husband hit the other car just about head on. As the air bag went off my husband's neck was turned to the left. The pressure of the air bag push his neck back herniating  his disk behind his larynx. The pressure also pinched quite a few nerves running under his collar bones into his shoulder down his left arm. It helps so much when he picked up his shoulder stabilizer. Keeping it immobilized helped alleviate the pain before he started his weekly therapy.

Alternative medicines

We can't help stress enough that for anyone out there that has come down with cancer or has a friend or relative that have been diagnosed with it to please try first alternative medicines before chemo therapy. The book Tanya Harter Pierce has  published makes for great reading  and will definitely give you a new outlook on a bad situation. Let alone how many people can endure chemo therapy.

GMAC insurance review

Posted by Malou at 4/09/2011 09:21:00 PM 0 comments
I started about two weeks ago  trying to figure out how we could save an extra two hundred dollars a month. Not from just being energy conservationist in our own home but from going through all of our bills and seeing if there is way to cut back. As my father used to say he was insurance poor. I know what he means these days with all of our different insurances. One thing I looked into was the gmac insurance review. I spent a whole day at six different sites doing comparisons and came up with an eighty dollar savings just for a little bit of time I put into it.

Pictures

The most depressing thing is slowly starting to happen in our house. We are running out of room for more pictures on our walls. I just love all of our pictures and I hate to take down my favorites to put up new ones. I still have some of my son's pictures up on the wall from when he was a baby. He is now four. Some of the pictures I've done are in black and white. They look so sweet.

Testosterone booster

Posted by Malou at 4/09/2011 09:03:00 PM 0 comments
I've never realized that this could happen until my friend's husband in his late thirties ended up going to the doctors. He had so many  multiple symptoms it was hard for the doctor to figure it out without sending him to a blood specialist. One of the main pills that he was giving was a testosterone booster. They also put him on a strong antibiotic after his test came back showing problems with his kidneys.

Sweet summer?

Posted by Malou at 4/09/2011 08:51:00 PM 0 comments
I always dread every spring picking up the outside. After the winter snow then comes the spring time run off of all the mud. Then when summer gets here we have to contend with the dusty sand that bows across the road from our house. I'm ready to go across the street and try to plant grass to hold the sand down.  But without top soil there's not much of the chance the grass will grow.

Adapexin-p

Posted by Malou at 4/09/2011 08:18:00 PM 0 comments
Sometimes its hard for me to understand  what people go through that are trying to lose weight.  Myself I've never had maybe a couple of extra pounds that I've wanted to get rid of and as soon as the summer gets here I like jogging early in the morning. This takes care of my extra couple pounds that I put on during the winter. My friend next door on the other hand needs to lose forty or fifty pounds. I told her about adapexin-p. She's going to look into it and see if it will work for her.

Dirt digging

Finally the ground just thawed out, my husband is back to digging the side yard which is high to fill the backyard which is low. The dirt that he is shovelling is mostly sand so it shovels very easily. In less than three hours in the afternoon he was able to fill the wheel burrow thirty times.  He said it keeps him strong as he gets a little older.  What a way to kill calories.

HGH

Posted by Malou at 3/30/2011 09:36:00 PM 0 comments
So many different products out there these days. Its good to do your research or look for reviews online. Usually the company with the best price  really doesn't mean that you're going to get the best product. As they say get what  you paid for. I used to take five different vitamins a day and then I found out after many years two of these don't do anything for me. If you're looking for information on
hgh this is a great place to start. Doing this ahead of time could possibly save you lots of money.

VHS to DVD converter

We're running out of room. Our VHS tapes are taking up so much of our room. I started looking earlier this week and found a machine that would convert our vhs videos over to dvd's in a short period of time.  The unit has progressive scan  with a 1080 HDMI output so we'll be all to enjoy the best quality pictures possible. It includes Dolby digital sound also. Only 70 dollars thru Heartland America

Buy hemogex

Posted by Malou at 3/30/2011 08:15:00 PM 0 comments
It used to make you wonder why some people  seemed to stay younger looking than what they really are in age.  There's been so many products over the year  and mostly actresses that we can identify with the product that are so younger looking. The money that is paid to these people for promoting their product is usually astronomical. A lot of these fads come and go but of course looking for the fountain of youth will always keep us going. One product  you may want to look into and to try is
buy hemogex. The search may end here.

Dust

Everything we do there's still too much dust in the house. That's what to expect from an almost new house they say. I'm going on-line to order something to filter the air. I've heard that the Oreck purification system is the best out there. We will see. I'm going to compair a lot before I buy one. Just so sick off dust.

Steve Madden shoes

Posted by Malou at 3/30/2011 07:39:00 PM 0 comments
My husband's birthday was a couple of weeks ago. We postponed it to try to get everybody together, that didn't work. Between work and the children's schedule my husband didn't really get a birthday party. So I took them out to dinner. Afterwards we went to different shoe stores looking for jogging sneakers at this time. Really couldn't find any that were that comfortable so we skipped buying them at the moment. Later on that evening being we couldn't find the sneakers, he has always wanted a good pair of dress shoes. I ended up buying a pair at steve madden shoes. At least he will have something for a late birthday present.

The Geo Trak has been a lot of fun for our son and still is . Lately he's been getting into his mega blocks a lot of fun for him. He comes running up, "look at my airplane Mommy" he says. We went to the store the other day. I decided to buy more so he could build more. He is now making spaceships that look like the star wars ships. I love to see the excitement in his face. Thanks baby...

Motorhome repair

Posted by Malou at 3/17/2011 09:02:00 PM 0 comments
Travelling around the country  has always been a dream of mine. I've had my fun time going camping in the Adirondack's, hiking all the trails , going fishing. It was also real nice when they expanded the water rides in Old Forge. I wish I had a motorhome maybe someday. I was talking to my husband about it. He said someday when we sell the house. He went on to say what he worries about most is motorhome repair. On his way back from Florida there must have been a dozen with problems on the side of the road. So that's why they have the moped on the back.

The snow is so close to being gone. My husband and my son have mixed emotion about putting up the 2001 ski-doo mxzx. They ride it almost every day just to make sure they get enough of it. Next year I think I want my own sled. It would be nice to have one of the newer rave ski-doo. Maybe I'll win it on E-Bay. I can only hope.

bathroom sink

Posted by Malou at 3/12/2011 08:22:00 PM 0 comments
The fun ended when we're done with our renovations. Working with my husband tearing apart  the walls and old fixtures was great.  I couldn't believe when we went to remove the old tub that we needed a sledge hammer. My husband asked me to stay our of the room until he was finished breaking it up. When he was done I came back in and what he didn't feel was a piece of steel went through his pants cutting his leg so after a patch job we continued disposal of the tub. The old bathroom sink was made of the same material as the tub. Very heavy but at least it was smaller so removal was easier.

The power of the tomato

Posted by Malou at 3/12/2011 08:17:00 PM 0 comments
In the last two weeks my husband has had pains in his mid left side every time after he eats. Sometimes very painful. As long as he lays on his back after the meal for about an hour and a half the pain seems to go away. Something he usually doesn't eat is tomatoes. I cut a bunch up to snack on for lunch with a little Italian dressing. The food wasn't ready for lunch yet so he ate quite  few of the tomatoes. After lunch he didn't experience the pain in his side. We don't know what the tomatoes did but he's eating a small amount everyday and so far no more pain. I think he is scared to stop eating them. There is no other symptoms.

Discount davidoff cigars

Posted by Malou at 3/05/2011 03:44:00 PM 0 comments
My neighbor was telling me about the discount davidoff cigars. His story starts out a little strange. He gambles at the horse track. The first start of the day was completely unlucky like someone was trying to stop him from getting to the race track. First he had a flat tire, got that fixed. Then the engine stopped in the car. So he had a friend picked him up as the car was being towed to the garage. He finally made it to the track only two minutes left for the money that he wanted to put down on a particular race. Over all he won eleven thousand dollars but the only thing that he can talk about was how awesome the taste of his Davidoff cigar was after he won all that money.

Ludens cough drops

Still to these day after all these years  when ever I get a cold or scratchy throat I rely on Ludens wild cherry couch drops. They must be the best. They've been in business for a hundred thirty years. I can remember my grandmother and my mother  both always having Ludens close in hand for any scratches or dry throat problem. So much better than the other cough drops that have mentholyptos as an ingredient.

Step stool supply

I always wish that I was taller at least five inches. Every time I go to buy pants because I'm so small a lot of times I end up checking out what they have in the girls department. Sometimes I find a lot of my stuff but as I get older and the clothes are for younger girls it can be a little awkward. When we moved in the new house the kitchen cabinets were so far out of reach that I have them remounted six inches lower.  But I still needed a step stool to reach the top ones. I found a nice one at http://www.stepstoolsupply.com/. The brown laminated one was my favorite choice.

It's just crazy when you live along ways from your job and you're not making a lot of money. Two years ago I quit my job when the gas prices hit four dollars a gallon. It didn't make any sense really. The price of gas and the price of a baby sitter, I was only making fifty extra dollars a week after that. And now gas is climbing again. First it went up from two dollars to four dollars a gallon then back down now up. Can't they fix this?

HTC desire android

I've been putting off buying a new phone. my phone is out of contract at the moment and I can't decide what company to go with. On the other hand my 3g iphone is getting a little worn out. The top edge of the screen is cracked and the only way to power off the phone is to hold it down for about two minutes. One of the most recent phones I'm looking at is the htc desire android. I probably make my decision by this weekend.

Creosote remover

For you people out there that have wood stove there's always a danger of creosote built up by running too cold of a fire. The first thing you should have  is a temperature gauge on your chimney that would tell you what heat range to keep it in for less creosote build up. One product that we found manufactured by Rutland is their creosote remover. It's for air tight wood stove and fire place inserts. By spraying this on a coaled over fire it reduces the build up immensely.

Are diet pills safe

I can't believe how many side effects there are with pills these days. As far as I'm concern the positives do not outweigh the negatives. My neighbor has allergies  the pills that she takes so she can just go outdoors. Give her head aches, cramps in her stomach and an elevated heart rate. All I can say to her is she must want to go outdoors really bad. When I thought that I needed to lose a little weight I started looking at diet pills. The question is are diet pills safe? So many different ones on the market I think I will just stick to my exercise program.

Power outrage

Hopefully we're all set up for a small emergency if it happen. My husband had set up solar panels on our shed enough to power four marine batteries that run to a converter that will give us one ten volt power. There's a long list of things of things that he's done just in case we have a power outrage. Also if the power goes out we have the wood stove to keep us warm. That's a great plus.

Best acne treatment

At my wits ends so many different products and depending on your own particular circumstances, which one will work best for you? I was doing fine controlling any kind of outbreaks then after quite  few years at the same job I switched jobs. The new place I work at has a lot of fine dust created by different products. Most of all cardboard. Washing up on my breaks is a constant habit. The next step is finding the  best acne treatment for myself because my old treatment doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Learning experience

When it comes to video games  didn't realize that our little boy was going to pick u so many bad habits. At four years old how bad do you think it could get. His star wars game is already teaching him bad habits. My husband and my son went sliding down hill on the snow the other day our dog was with them also. Our son wiped out with his sled, he got up started kicking the dog. My husband asked what he was doing hurting the dog. He said he was doing fighting just like they do on his game. Time to say good bye to that game for awhile.

Male enhancement products

Doing research sometimes can be fun also other times very confusing. When it comes to the male ego I guess bigger is better. The cons to that I guess would be smaller isn't the best. The psychological effect can be an astronomical boost. With today's new studies on male enhancement products most guys try them just to see what it would do for them.  Even if that particular product doesn't work on a hundred percent of the men it's still a great product. It's all about finding the right one that fits their circumstances.

Mailbox alert

Waiting on our tax returns to come in the mail was very exciting because we were planning on a new dining room set as soon as they came in. I happened to be online and discovered a little neat gadget. It attaches to your mailbox door and when somebody opens the door, it sends a signal to a receiver that you have in your house to let you know that your mail is here. Quite an ingenious little gadget. I like it.

Wire bind machine

At the very start, starting up a small business takes a lot more concentration then just concentrating on the selling of your product. I'm so glad that I had people close enough that are friends that are already in business. They helped me with my business plans along with my short term and long term goals. Picking up all the right equipment was the easy part.  I'll be doing a lot of presentations that I printed out on my new commercial printer. I needed a WireBind machine to keep each packet organized. Everbody was impressed that I did this myself.

Fast cooking

My husband bought me something unusual the other day. He says this is going to take the place of our stove, oven, slow cooker.  If you ask me its kind of look like a blow drier o top of a cooking pot. I couldn't believe it when we put an uncooked ham along with potatoes and carrots also. I was so impressed at how little time it took to cook everything. The name of this is Savoureux Pro Line. So unique.

Urban clothes

It is spring time, time to clean out the closet. I have to do it when my husband is at work. he says my girlfriends are like vultures waiting for my hand me downs. Most of my clothes were picked out  by my husband. He has a good taste when it comes to seeing ahead how things would look on me. Very seldom is he wrong when it comes to clothes. The urban clothes that I purchased last year I've only had a chance to wear them once or twice. They won't be going anywhere soon.

Riding the MXZX ski doo

So much for our mid winter meltdown it only lasted three days. So much water coming off our eves of our house.  It looked like Niagra falls. At least most of the snow and ice is gone now for today's weather twenty five to forty mile an hour gust of wind with lake effect snow off from Lake Ontario. We've seen it go from grass in the evening to sixteen inches of snow in the morning. It sure was fun driving our MXZX ski doo with just our T-shirts and regular pants. It was sixty degrees Friday.

HD7

I don't know what to do anymore. The choices out there for new cellphones is so unlimited. I spent at least two hours online doing comparison for the needs that I have in a phone. Of course I want a touch phone but I really want one that has the best camera and video capacity. So far the top of my list is the HD7. The price is right for me and I really have to make decision soon because my old phone doesn't like to turn on all the time.

Spring is in the air

Usually our winters can last way into April. This year seem to be the exception. The other morning we awoke to the loud sound of a bunch of crows outback. Usually they don't get together or show up until April. So that was kind of indication of spring coming sooner. Walking into the grocery store also yesterday we seen a flock of Canadian geese quacking loudly overhead. As they came back from one of the Sothern States they had called their winter retreat.

Business cards printing

Posted by Malou at 2/12/2011 07:11:00 PM 0 comments
It is so much stress running my business now that three of the programs for the purchasing department run automatically so I don't have to update them each day.  Just as if I was on a good role with my mailers and I had totally forgot about my business cards printing I looked over at the shelf of my inventory and I had only enough to get me through 'till the end of the week. So luckily for me that they have a rush service so I will only be down for one day next week.

Power steering fluid

It was a cold winter day today.  I hate having to go out in this weather but I had to go to the bank. So I started up the car and I noticed a sound coming from under the hood. I opened it up to see that the power steering fluid was running low. I didn't have any power steering fluid at home so I was hoping to get lucky enough to make it to the gas station before the pump stop working. Lucky for me the gas station is only five minutes away. I turned the key off quickly as a I pulled in bought some fluid filled it up and now the squeak is gone. I feel lucky.

Zuo

Our old place that we used to live in was very simple in style. I couldn't wait to move into our new house. There was so much more room and the layout was open and fantastic. We brought all of our old furniture  to use in the mean time while we save up for the nice zuo style of my choice.  The hardest part of the situation was comparing one style to the other first I would decide on the one thing  but overnight  I would awake and change my mind.

The realities of a landlord

For those of you out there that think that you can make money off of renting apartments forget it. First of your tenants think you're rich so they never give you rent on time. Or they say sorry I'm late. It's ridiculous. It cost you more money and time in court than its worth. How about when you have a non paying tenant that doesn't want to leave? They just look at you and say I don't have anywhere to go. By the time you get them out through the court possibly you lose three months rent then you end up buying new rug, painting, and cleaning the place. You're out around 4000.00 dollars. It's just not worth it. That's why were selling our rental house. Can't wait to say goodbye to the headache.

Hot tub cover

Posted by Malou at 2/03/2011 08:02:00 PM 0 comments
I will never forget the day waking up in the morning walking outdoors to the deck.  The night before we had a summer cook out party. The early part of the day the hot tub cover was closed down, we were using the hot tub with a table cloth over top of it for an extra serving table for the party. There was all sorts of foods sprawled all over that top. Apparently when it was removed some hamburger grease was spilled on the top. So when I walked out during the morning apparently a raccoon thought that the cover was a big hamburger and shredded most of the corner with his teeth.

Planning our trips

This coming summer we're going to plan our trips a little different. I need a little more time with my husband. I'd like to spend at least three days with him without the kids. Its not like we don't take the kids anywhere camping, fishing, the water rides not to mention out on the boat. We had a fun summer last year but this one is going to be even better. We've looked at the extended weather and it is suppose to be hot summer.

Stop smoking

Posted by Malou at 1/30/2011 08:19:00 AM 0 comments
If you've never been a smoker let me enlighten you. It's such a powerful addiction just picture taking away your favorite food that also gives you the best nutrients that your body thrives on. I had an aunt one time hooked on coca cola so much that if you took it away she'd want to kill you. It's just about the same stress level to stop smoking. Taking nicotine out of your system should be a slow process. After all it was a slow process to build in your system.

Midnight hunger

What a little life saver sometimes. When you get up hungry in the middle of the night you usually don't find anything too appetizing to munch on or satisfying. They're priced so right to satisfy your midnight hunger. Ramen noodles always seem to tied me over to the next morning for my breakfast. And if that doesn't work I have a piece of toast with peanut butter. Then I can go back to sleep with ease.

Apidexin

Posted by Malou at 1/19/2011 08:42:00 PM 0 comments
In the way past before the Internet came around  I spent a small fortune on different diet plans and exercise videos.  The videos got boring after a couple of weeks of trying to find time to use them. And on one of the diet plans  the food they sold me tasted like cardboard. My girlfriend has been using apidexin for a couple of months now, she has lost almost twenty five pounds  over this time. The happiness of the  weight loss shows in her face I think she's even smiling more these days.

Predictable people

Whatever happened to the old saying if you didn't have anything good to say then don't say nothing. You go to work besides the work being repetitious all day long five days a week the people are just all the same. They can't stop saying enough about their husband's or wife's on how much a pain they are. Not every body at work is like this but the daily gossip is so predictable. Let alone break time gets here half the people run outdoors to smoke their cigarettes and the other half of the people have their face shoved up to their cellphone texting everybody. Sometimes they remind me of the documentary of all the penguins hanging out together and I laughed.

Weight loss stories

Posted by Malou at 1/17/2011 07:59:00 PM 0 comments
There's never a dull moment around my sister in law between her and her two friends they have about two hundred pounds worth of weight loss stories. She'll tell you all about the time when she went on a six month grape fruit diet. The diet that almost kill her. Hey what the heck! She got rid of the extra weight that was hanging around over ten year period from her having three children. You can't expect to be perfect after having children. Some women are lucky some women aren't some women it just doesn't matter because they're happy with their family.

New flannels

I was so glad when my husband opened up his Christmas present Christmas morning to find out that he had two new quilted lined flannel shirts. The old ones that he had were looking pretty horrible. He didn't want to get rid of these because they were so comfortable but let's face it. How many times can you lay in a mud puddle to work on a car and hopes that that shirt will survive? I worked so hard in cleaning one particular shirt. The flannel material just disappeared after the hundred times of cleaning it.

Weight loss supplements that really work

Posted by Malou at 1/17/2011 07:04:00 PM 0 comments
Oh my goodness! When I was younger I had to worry about keeping my weight up.  My metabolism was so fast for my petite frame its seemed like I could never get enough to eat. But now after having my son I like to be all to lose a little more. It's not like it is a lot of weight but it's stubborn weight and I don't get enough physical exercise at work and I'm too tired to go to the gym at night. So I'm looking for a weight loss supplements that really work. If only I could find the right one that agree with me and get the job done.

Burning wood

Posted by Malou at 1/17/2011 06:53:00 PM 0 comments
Burning wood in our house sure saves us a lot of money. We have approximately three acres of wood on our property. Usually we use seven quart of wood a season doesn't take much to heat the house but cutting splitting and stacking the wood can be a pain sometimes. We let the wood stove go out at night and turned on only a fifteen hundred watt instant heat electric heater. It throws the heat evenly all over the room enough to keep the cold temperatures of the night away from us. then we restart the wood stove in the morning.

Glass mosaic tile

Posted by Malou at 1/15/2011 03:09:00 PM 0 comments
I never had so much fun at making a mess. Remodelling our bathroom was touch and go fun. The demolition part was the best. I pretended to get mad at my husband and started hitting everything with the hammer and the bar. I made fast work out of our old vanity. Then I moved on to the tub wall and plumbing. Good thing my husband shut off the water line because I hit one by accident. The walls of the  new bathroom will have glass mosaic tile for the main part separated by a partition enclosing the toilet for additional privacy.

Blow up bed

It was so hectic over the Christmas holiday season. With a lot of family coming and going we really needed extra comfortable space for them to sleep. So in our spare bedroom we set up two double thickness blow up beds. Very unique and comfortable. The two youngsters that slept in the couch were actually fighting over sharing the bed with their older brother. I think they even approached their mom trying to talk her into sleeping on the couch instead of the bed.

Electronics

Growing up in the seventies so many things have changed when it comes to electronics. I watched my mom and dad load so many 8 track cassettes into that player in the car. I can remember the only thing I wanted for Christmas was the new miniature cassette player. When I opened it up Christmas morning I was so ecstatic. What I had forgotten about was I asked for the Meatloaf cassette to go with it. Meatloaf was so big then and as in today still going strong. I played that cassette 'till it broke. I loved it so much I bought another.

Fixing the fridge

What a difference in our food spoilage. My husband was so sick of the freezer burn on our food  from freezing it. He had found out after searching online that there could be problems in the freezer itself. So he took it apart cleaned the whole thing to make sure the air flow was proper for circulation. Put it all back together now there's such an amazing difference. It was all to do with the air flow tube that had frozen in the back behind the inside wall.

Men's clothing

Posted by Malou at 1/01/2011 10:21:00 AM 0 comments
I can't wait for spring cleaning. Being we have limited clothing space in the house we're always looking for extra room. My husband has been holding on a lot of clothes that he doesn't really wear anymore so we will be giving these clothes to the good will store and hopes that someone else will have good use from them. His birthday is coming up in March, I put a nice jacket on layaway at the men's clothing store. He will be so surprise with this. It's to replace one that he wears that's been worn out over the years.

Christmas tree

Posted by Malou at 1/01/2011 10:11:00 AM 0 comments
Well I guess its about that time to start taking apart our Christmas tree. Last year we packed it up and put it in our storage shed it was completely sealed in a Tupperware tote. But we found out that the chipmunks teeth can cut right through Tupperware looking for a candy cane for their sweet tooth I guess. So this year after buying everything new we maybe putting it in a tote but we won't be putting it in the shed.

Pendant lighting

Posted by Malou at 1/01/2011 09:32:00 AM 0 comments
My husband being a contractor gets into a lot of different renovations over the course of many years. One of the renovation he recently was doing was on a turn of the century Victorian house. Besides rewiring the whole house the lighting fixtures were very hazardous. The last time they were replaced was when electricity had been installed in the house itself. Maybe 80 years ago. Instead of having the lights all rebuilt which would have cost thousand and thousands of dollars he ended up going with pendant lighting. This saved so much time when it came to labor side of the project.

Rebuilding

If we're going to have cold in New York State why not have snow with our warm up this weekend. It's melting the little bit of snow that we have. Now everything is gonna start getting muddy and in some areas there will be flooding. I can never understand why people rebuild in flood areas after their house has been destroyed. Well I guess its just like California wild fires. After getting burned out they build again in the same area. How ridiculous.
