Fender acoustic guitars at musicians friend

I had a lot of fun and some hard times learning to play my father in law's old guitar. It's somewhere around sixty years old and it shows a lot of use. Lately I've been looking at fender acoustic guitars at musicians friend. Somehow I want to keep it from my husband until I really get used to it. He couldn't believe  years ago when he came home from work I was sitting there playing his dad's guitar and the song was American pie. He didn't even know I been practicing for months and months.

Don't be a landlord

Don't ever be a landlord. Every tenant thinks that the landlord is a rich person. I guess they don't understand the taxes and the upkeep of the property and then  chasing tenants down to pay their rent. They have more excuses in one month than a person should have in  a lifetime. When it comes to moving out they stiff you for money and leave the place a mess for you to take care of all the debris removal. So don't be a landlord.

Lawn sale

This weekend we loaded all of our garage sale items onto our truck and took them down to my mother in law's. She lives on a main road with a lot more traffic than our side road. We had lots of people come and go we would have liked to sell more things but with all the small things that we sold we still made 120 dollars from things that we didn't need.

Texas bankruptcy laws

Just shortly after graduating high school my sister left for a great job outside of Houston Texas. For many years she was single but then she decided it was too lonely being by herself. She started a relationship with her boss of all people. A few years after that the business was not doing well. The boyfriend, the boss just up and left one day leaving her with lots of extra bills. The Texas bankruptcy laws would not allow her to declare everything that she thought they would so at least before she started the bankruptcy she consolidated a lot of her bills.

Extreme heat

You can never win with the weather in Central New York. We did a couple of weeks in the 90's which was really too hot. A lot of people got sick some people got heat stroke. My husband working on new commercial construction in Syracuse watched three guys in one day leave the job for one reason or another to do with the heat. Its very important to stay hydrated during these days but I guess we don't have to worry this week where were back in the 70's with finally the much needed rain.
