Record player needle

My husband had a bunch of boxes packed away for many years in the attic. I asked him what was in them and a lot of it he couldn't remember. The day that we took the boxes out was like a treasure hunt. One box had a race track in it from 30 years ago. My husband said his friends used to come over as a kid and race their cars with him. One other box had a Micky mouse record player in it that was older than my husband it just needs a record player needle and it should be good to go. We plugged it in and the motor still works. What a find!

Its been two years now since I gave my son my nook tablet the other little tablets just seems to die if you accidentally put one two many things in it. At least we had guarantee on them and they credited our account. I took that money and bought the nook and it has been great for a long time.

Pioneer ddj-s1

Christmas is coming soon enough and I think this year is going to be one of those years where I buy my family members something to do with music. It seems like children these days they are so much smarter when it comes to technical stuff but then again being my husband is a carpenter he would like to teach my son some more of everyday construction. At ten years old my son is stuck playing games on his tablet every after school. But at least he is very musically self taught. We bought a used piano and he plays by ear. But one thing that I thought he could experience is a pioneer ddj-s1 at least this will make his mind opened to different music.

Cold rainy days

We've had so many great days of weather this September and October. I guess we can't complain that it's rainy and cold today. My husband remembers years ago being a contractor working outdoors a day like today is about the only day that they wouldn't work outdoors. If it's cold outdoors they can easily dress warm but when it's raining rain suits just seem to keep you colder.
